I really enjoyed this! I found the first puzzle really confusing and ended up brute forcing it lol. But the other puzzles felt like the right challenge level.
I thought the atmosphere of the game was the strongest point. The rain, the doors, all of the sound--it was very well put together. I noticed that it was made in three.js, which is super impressive. Very well done!

What game engine did you make this project in?

Loved it even though i constantly felt like an idiot when i solved the puzzles and saw realised how long they took me.
The atmosphere was really unsettling and palpable in this game and i loved that you tackled the horror from a less on the nose direction. It felt moody and queitly unsettling in a way that jump scares dont deliver. I felt like it was exploring something and making me think (not just about the puzzles). I dont really know what conclusions i've come to yet but Im really impressed a game jam game has sat with me like this at all.
I saw in another comment you used a custom engine with three.js !? this entry would be impressive if you have used Unity, but to achieve this all in a limited time in Three js is amazing, congrats.
Great job, really solid entry and definitly something i will be pondering for the rest of the night.
cool game i was stack at the first puzzle but i read the comments to help me there is a bug in fullscreen where the fps go to 20 fps but i played it with out fullscreen and it normal
You made a really great atmosphere in the game!
Sound of rain, music and that dark room do the job! Riddles are pretty hard, cool mechanic of opening a boxes.
Probably could be great idea to give player some kind of lamp to hand (amnesia-like), otherwise is pretty hard to see in the dark.
What engine did you use? I had some glitches with light (flashing), playing on chrome browser.
Good job and congratulations on your submission!
I liked the game, but I had to stop at some point because I couldn't see anything. Is it too dark, or did I miss picking up a torch somewhere?
This game is a really interesting concept! The ode to the artist pursuit of masterpiece is well done. The puzzles were a little vague, most specifically the first one. I ended up having to brute force the box and only after did I realize what the hint was trying to get me to look at. The lighting was a little interesting, I think some more work on lighting might make lamp interactions more meaningful. Though, the design layout of the individual rooms was really nice, I didnt notice the ceiling in the second room until I thought I was done exploring (good timing), and the final room was super interesting. Great game! I wanna see more story, more lore, more about whats happening here.
If anyone is hopelessly confused on the first puzzle, the hint is telling you to look at the drawings on the walls, group them together in 3 groups, one for each digit.
Hey, thank you for your feedback and kind words! I agree that the first puzzle is very vague. Actually the solution is to look out the windows, you will see a different number through each window. The note (eyes -> soul) is a reference to the quote "the eyes are the window to the soul" which is a hint to try the windows. Thank you again for playing :)
