The controller was good, and some of the screeches really scared me. The chase at the end was quite intense.
All in all, the atmosphere is pretty well put together, reminds me of a black eyed priest game in terms of the different environment colors. I had a couple issues with the settings but nothing that ultimately made the game unplayable. good submission for a Jam, good work!
The atmosphere is very well-crafted. The sound design is also good but I encountered a bug like when we tweak settings when we are playing, and then after closing the options menu the game freezes. This bug does not make the game bad, it’s scary and very atmospheric. I like it.
Okay, the staging and the chase scenes are the game’s strong points! Having access to so many paths (or feeling like I did) from the start threw me off a bit, haha.
This method of movement for the woman… guaranteed effect!
I found myself looking behind me (inevitably), and not seeing her anymore. And that’s bloodcurdling, haha.
Well done!
Im really glad to hear! Thanks for trying our project and leaving feedback.
The game has a really scary horror atmosphere, especially in the dark. At first, I saw a woman waving and thought she was friendly, so I went to her. Turns out I died, haha!
It was really scary to wander around - the atmosphere is great! I met the white old lady at the very beginning, but she didn’t come closer to me. Later, I tried to find a way out and finish the game, but I ended up back in the first area - I wasn’t quite sure what to do next.
Still, it was a very tense and atmospheric experience!
Great horror atmosphere and nice soundtrack! I always failed to escape, though, but fun game anyway!
Oh, that’s bad. Do you know what went wrong exactly? Did you get stuck somewhere? The monster is actually pretty slow, you can outrun it pretty easily.
I loved the atmosphere and gameplay. It must have been very difficult to do it in 7 days. If you allow me a small criticism, I would say that the screen freezes in some places, which is normal since I assume you haven't had time to polish it completely. Still, you´ve done a great job and you should be proud of it. One more question (I´m curious) How do you make such a great main menu? I´ve seen a lot of great main menus in this jam and I still don´t know how to make a decent one.
Nice question! I built a small static scene in the background and added some post-processing effects along with distance fog. The UI is pretty straightforward — just simple buttons with a script that detects when you’re hovering over them, changes their color, and plays a sound when clicked
Thanks. I will keep this in mind for the future.
Pretty spooky atmosphere tho there's some bugs here and there, nice game!
This game incorporates many classic elements and is very interesting. here are some feedbacks
1\At the very beginning when you spawn, there is a small invisible wall right at the elevator entrance, and you need to jump to get out.
2\The chase sequence is a bit difficult, and there are no checkpoints in between. Failing can be somewhat frustrating.
good game!
Welp its safe to say i didnt expect what happened at the end....
I shat my pants is what did
Really spooky one there. Good game.
The spook factor is higher here; being chased always adds real fear. Design is nicely done too.
Really liked how the game looked, the movement was clean and the sliding was cool. Great game! The spooky people were amazing.
Graphics were good and I like the full screen effect when you run, gives a nice sense of speed! (I'll def copy this in the future :D)
- About the building, it seemed some parts were mis aligned
- Like the jump scares with the crawling thing showing up out of nowhere
- Maybe a bug, but I couldn't pick up the fuel :/
Done, I sent feedback.
The Map Design Was Compelling And The Music Was Fantastic. I Enjoyed The Final Sequence Immensely, It Truly Was Tense
