Very fun game, I could see this becoming a commercial steam game with more content

This was extremely fun to play! I loved getting new gear, new party members, and upgrading / finding different equipment. It took me a few minutes to realize I could strategically position party members, and being able to do so made things a lot easier. I was also relieved that fallen party members could come back, I would have been sad if they died for real.

The boss slime splitting into smaller enemies was such a great touch. The only thing that threw me off a bit was all the stats and info in the menu explaining what everything was - it felt overwhelming. But once I got the hang of it I was hooked. I wish it were longer, I would have happily spent more time playing!

A genuinely suprising amount of depth to the skills/stats/abilities on display in this. I swear i kept mousing over stuff and being suprised that there was more on show.

One bug, i often ended up accidentally bypassing/losing a reward, by hitting continue without picking a mask, or trying to upgrade a mask that couldn't be any further improved.

Nice work!

Pretty cool! Found this a lot of fun, neat take on auto battlers/slay the spire type things too

The honesty in the ending made me laugh and i feel that :D

The core gameplay was really cool. The idea of visible item rarity border is really clever and made the items look better imo. I had just one mishap that was a bit annoying. as an ex wowplayer i knew what comes after blues. i wanted to upgrade my blue item to purple just to realize that there is no purple and the game decided that the upgrade has been concluded and just closed :( the minmaxer in me was really sad that the upgrade was wasted, but the ending made up for that :D

I had fun playing and would have played even longer because i was hooked

Great entry!

Very detailed game systems

There are a lot of stats, and the auto-battling mechanic is very good.

The art and audio are not quite up there with the mechanics

Very good work

Also, play our game if you can: Spectral Mask

Loved it so much!! Fun autobattler, good mechanics, polished stats, polished gameplay, very, very fun. I think one of the most fun games I've played in this jam. with more content I'm sure I'll sink hours into this game, lol. Good for a mobile game, you make a few choices, press play and watch everything unfold. Loved it. Great job!

Just WOW!!! This is my favorite game from the jam no doubt, and i dont even like rougelikes! SUUUPER underrated, probably because of the unassuming art, not that its bad, i started to find it quite charming by the end. But the first impressions are maybe of a less polished game. But dont book the judge by his cover, cuz this one slaps!

The design in this game is superb! An autobattler where you can reposition your characters on the fly between battle to change each encounter is genius, and with how the attack priority it really feels like youre making a team, with a tank and flankers and all sorts. The positioning system genuinely feels like it could be the next big thing in RPG´s, its so intuitive and simple yet so fresh and deep and Ive never seen anything quite like it.

The mask/weapon mechanic is also superb! Having each character be the average joe and having their entire functionality decided by the masks is such a cool concept, and i can see the depth of team building goes deep with this. Truly a great used of the theme.

The variety of stuff you managed to put into the game the time we had is very impressive, and each mask and weapon i saw felt really cool and interesting to use in its own way.

The difficulty scaling quite good, with you feeling like you get noticeably stronger each turn (if you choose well) while still keeping the fights hard but fair. Although i still haven't managed to beat the three beeeg slimes stage yet.

This is more fun than many steam rougelikes that i have played, and with more content and maybe with a more marketable art style, this would do numbers as a full game.

And yeah, just wow, I love it! You will go far as a designer I just know it. You get all the external validation from me.

A very fun autobattler!
I'm surprised to see so much build variety in a game like this for a jam this short, well done!

Thank you for playing! I wasn't able to add everything or even most of what I planned, but It's cool to see it worked out still :)

That was an awesome little game. Congrats!
There's so much stuff there! Upgrades, map, drag and drop, holy.
My unique minor improvement here is that the UI could be a little bit more polished (e.g. when you select a mask as a reward, for example, you already display the message that it must be dragged to the character for it to be used, but, until you finish the choosing part, it can't be dragged), but like, besides that super minor specific stuff, it's a hell of a fun game. Congrats!

Thank you so much!! I'm glad you liked it :D

And good point on the message, I added that at the last minute and that completely escaped my mind
