So much built in such a short amount of time, impressive! Had a lot of fun, and enjoyed the little details like the satisfying overlay when reaching a new level. Loved exploring the world too (the part where you climb the treetops was my favorite). Agree checkpoints would definitely help keep momentum going, maybe in between the big battles and the subsequent platforming areas.

"May be continued" - Loved that haha. I hope you do continue, you have a knack for world building :)

For all the submissions I've played through so far, this game feels the most complete. Not only are the UI and combat system intuitive, although the levels aren't necessarily detailed, the fact that each part of the levels feel unique makes the experience traversing through the levels fun and rewarding, especially when you manage to progress through a part of the level that you've kept dying at before. I do think that it would be nice if there were checkpoints in between levels though-- missing a jump near the end of the level and having to do all the platforming and fighting all over again just doesn't feel that great lol

Fun game, especially enjoyed the hook/Spider-Man mechanic. What’s also nice is that both weapons have a clear up- and downside, so it is worth switching between them.

A bug I experienced was in the desert part where the camera moved. I went back a bit and probably hit the collider that adjusts the camera again, and it moved the camera again. Maybe something to look into. Other than that, it is very clean, and I like the simple art style. Great job!

I enjoyed the part that I played - I did find the combat to be too difficult for me (but that might be because it really isn't my kind of game so I am a wuss - so I didn't mark you down for that...lol) the graphics were beautiful and atmospheric and the controls were good. I wish I could have got further.

Cool game, big fan of the art style!

I really liked the grapple mechanic, felt smooth and was fun to use. The combat gauntlets were pretty brutal, I don't think I ever managed to dodge an archer's first shot and the melee'ers were super tanky (unless you used the sword but that mostly got me killed). I think the combat overall was pretty close to being fun but it went a little over the line into frustrating territory. Still, a good submission overall, good job!

Looks really fun!! I just got stuck on the menu and couldn't close it...

Great job! Game style felt really unique.

I ran into a few roadblocks:

  • Gate before the first mask - took me a while to realize I just had to kill a set number of enemies before the door would open.
  • Equipping masks - try as I might, I couldn't equip that first mask once I had it. I tried clicking, clicking and dragging, highlighting with arrow keys and hitting "enter," hitting "Q." Did I run into a bug? Or miss something?

Screenshots look exciting! Would love to try to get further.

Hi, I like the idea, the controls are responsive and the levels are easy to read. However I did find the combat a bit lacking, I found no reason to use the sword instead of just walking backwards shooting the bow which isn’t very engaging in my opinion.
