Submission Description
Chronicles of a Cosmic Dreamer tells the story of a journey — from the innocent wonder of childhood dreams to the courage of exploration and the quiet awe of encountering the infinite.
Each track reflects a chapter in that voyage: the dream, the launch, and the realization of how small we are within the vastness of the cosmos.
It’s not just a story about space, but about the human spirit — our endless desire to reach beyond what we know.

This is a really cool soundtrack! I love how you chose to compose for the theme, everything feels "cosmic dreamy"! I also really like track 2 it feels very imaginative and awe-inspiring and the vocals are some nice touches. I also really like the layering you did in your tracks. I have a couple small constructive feedback; I like how you use the crashes throughout your tracks to give them some more impact, though, I feel the crashes could be a little bit quieter or they could use a high shelf filter in all the tracks, or maybe even a reverse crash (or another sibilant texture) to crescendo into it to ease into a bit (but that'd kind of ruin the impact a tiny bit). I also want to emphasize the hat in track 2 like FoxHyode mentioned, I really really like track 2 but the hat poking out in the treble is the main thing holding it back I feel, but I still think you've composed these wonderfully and the whole soundtrack feels very wondrous, like exploring the vastness of space! Very nicely done!

Hello!  Thanks a lot for your  feedback! I'm really happy you liked the “cosmic dreamy” vibe and the layering I tried to build.

You're totally right about the crashes and highs, I’ve noticed they can be a bit too sharp sometimes. :( I’ll make sure to pay more attention to that and smooth things out in future tracks.

Really appreciate you taking the time to listen and share your thoughts!

Nice story telling through music, interesting combo of instrumentation used.  I like the overall arrangement you did on every track. I think the main thing to look for is your chords voiciing and progression. The mix sounded nice but because you played triad chords on the pads at low registrer it will automatically sound muddy, spread the voicing you your problem is fixed. Other thing is just to watch for overall frequencie spectrum , sometimes there is too much highs on the hats and other instruments in track 2 for exemple, sometimes its too low like the beginning of first track. Nonetheless I like all the small details, sound design texture and even some VO. Good job !

hi, thank you , your feedback is very valuable and it will help me a lot in my future works

The vibe is cool in your EP, you got some great ambiances here. I have to admit that your VST sounded too vst'ish imho in the first track, and it finishes a little oddly. The second track is much better in what it tries to achieve. I think having stronger themes would help a lot your futurs compositions! Wish you the best

Hello! Thank you for your comments and feedback. I agree with you — on the first track, I also felt somewhat unsatisfied with how it ended; it came out a bit strange. I think it was due to the rush of making three tracks — I felt the pressure, and well, you probably noticed that haha.

When you talk about the VST, do you mean it sounds too artificial? Or that it lacks expression or “humanity”?

I really appreciate your reply!

I meant that it feelt artificial ;)

I think you captured the theme sooo very nicely in this submission!

I also think you did good in matching the tone of your story with the music. Your first track does have this dream-like quality to it in the beginning that hints at the idea of space travel feel mysterious, and breaks into this really cool, almost a call-to-action vibe at the end, leading nicely into 'godspeed'. I think your third track is probably my favorite, just because it captures what my feelings would be if I were in space - 'dang it's huge, where should we go first?'. Very cool stuff.

My main piece of feedback would be that I personally would've liked to have heard you lean more into the dreamy, mysterious quality in your first track. Whenever I think of dream sequences in movies or video games there tend to be sections of the music that feature some weirder harmony that could've reinforced that idea in your track IMO.

Thanks for sharing what you got, and keep up the good work :)
