Cool platformer, like it;) Unfortunately I wasn't able to make the jump in 2nd level, I am not sure I got it all right :D

Love the game. Reminded me a little of portal (the vibe an puzzles). It's a little difficult for my anti platformer brain tho. Cool Game nonetheless

Developer

Thanks :D

A minimalist 3D platforming game, quite good; placing the platforms really tests your distance measurement skills. Good game!

Thanks :D

Ok you got me. I went ahead and download your game and it was pretty fun, even though im not very good with platformers. I like the whole mechanic of being able to spawn your own platforms but having a limited number to solve the puzzles. Which speaking of, the puzzles in the levels were really well done and had a nice difficulty curve. My only real critique would probably be the minimalism which I assume is what you were going for but I think it is a bit too much. There's a lot of empty space in the levels and I dont know what could be added but itd be nice if something filled that empty space.

Thanks, but yeah, I get your point, minimalism was the easiest choice for me ( I chose minimalism so I could cut many corners ), nor did I know what to add in the empty spaces 😅

Nice concept and could definitely be a good game for speed running! I'm sorry I was so bad at it on stream haha. As I mentioned, I found the mouse sensitivity a little high and it would be good if there was an audio cue for when you reach a checkpoint.

Really liked the minimalist aesthetics btw! They fit the theme nicely.

Thanks, also, I have already implemented the changes ( except for the mouse sensitivity one ), though I will, of course, upload the new version after the voting ends.

How did I get burned out on the last level...

And why? Because for me, "returning to a checkpoint" always equals "resetting progress". As a result, I was less than a second behind 5 times.

But I beat this game!

And then I read the comments...

Very fun game, I like it! Although there are some things that I wonder if they were intentional or not, namely the backspace, it sends me back to the checkpoint just as it says, but I'd just click a button and go back to the checkpoint that way and it would be no challenge to go through. I dont know if it was intentional or an exploit I found. I also noticed that the jump is not detected once, found out by jumping while crouched between two platforms, it would endlessly trigger a jump if I hold the space button, but not game breaking at all. overall pretty fun!

Developer (1 edit)

backspace sends you back to your last checkpoint, took some inspiration from trackmania with that one, and yes the last level is intentional, thus the name, figured it'd be pretty interesting to have to hit backspace a bunch of times, also explain what you mean by space not being detected once, don't really know if ur referring to coyote jumping or something else, so with the 2 platforms one, did you mean like being sandwiched between 2 platforms or being like at the edge of 2 platforms ?

Submitted

yes, sandwiched between 2, basically infinitely jumps if you hold it, i only noticed it because of the crouch jump, i'd land right on the edge of the platform, right below the next one, and then it happens.

Developer

weird, which level did that happen on..

Developer

ohhhhhh the level 1 crouch part? ye cant fix it, tried to, have no idea why it does that lol

Developer

nvm it's level 2, ye mb, it was 0.1 units too tall sob
