I really enjoyed this one, though I might be a little biased since I love puzzle games. The art style looks great and captures the Halloween vibe perfectly. The “uninvited guest” theme also fits nicely with how the game plays, which makes it feel cohesive and well thought out! The UI could use a bit more polish, but that’s pretty normal for a jam game. Adding a few extra sound effects or small animations would make the experience feel more complete as well... for example, some feedback when hovering over or selecting a card would help a lot. Switching between “kick” and “keep” with a single button would also make the controls smoother and faster to use. than clicking on. Given the limited time to create it, this turned out to be a really solid entry. It’s very creative and fits the theme well, while also everything is functional. I also liked the little 'dialogues' of the guests! With just a little more feedback and visual polish, it could easily stand out even more.

I liked the game, had fun, but I'd like to see it made in a longer jam, with more levels and more difficult puzzles. With just six levels it just gives you a taste :)

The presentation was good- the characters are cute and Halloween-y, and the theme of "uninvited guest" is utilized in a great way. I think that games that use the theme best use it on every level. They affect the plot, and are a constant factor in decisions that the player makes during the gameplay. You had that! Congrats!

Adding tutorial to a game like that is a must, and your was double cool, because you incorporated the tutorial messages into the gameplay,

very cool and unique game !!

the idea is fun but maybe making the cards randomize each time you play the level would be great , the art and the music  is cool .. and the game fit the theme well

great submittion

This was a really fun logic game with a very well made tutorial. Card prompts were the perfect level of "hint" to direct you to the next card without being too obvious, so I "felt smart" figuring it out. I had a great time with this game and expect it will do well in the jam.

Art and music were also good, though it would spice up the background a bit if it had some texture, like a faint outline of candy pieces scattered across the screen. Sound effects for flipping the cards could add some nice realism, though I see you only had a couples days to make it, so maybe you had to cut minor polishes like these.

Nice to see a game similar to my own.

Very simple and elegant and well crafted game.
The tutorial is impressive as it actually explains how the game works very well.

Easily one of the most solid entries to the jam I've played. Well done all around.

only criticisms:
1. instead of a button to change between kick/keep it would be nice to use left mouse button and right mouse button.
2. as far as I can see, there's no logical reason to choose one of the zombies in level 6 over the other, and so you have to rely on using your lives in order to make a guess.
3. a game won "congratulations, you won!" screen or something would have been nice.

I missed the Lives counter. That explains why I could get one wrong and still pass a level. Thanks for mentioning that.

I get your left and right click suggestion and it could be a nice alternate selection option, but I feel the buttons have benefit too, since they can work on mobile. I also have a harder time pressing right click on my very old touchpad, so if I had to pick, I might choose the onscreen button.

This is a super charming logic game. Everything about it was so well-executed!

The only thing unintuitive is that "neighbors" apparently includes diagonal?

Really nothing else to complain about. Perfect entry for this jam!

This is one of my favourite games for this Jam. it's so simple but it captures the theme perfectly, and also the rules were straightforward enough to pick up and play easily! The cuteness of it and the music all fit into the style of the game too. Since it was only made in 12 hours, of course more could be done to make it even more polished, and have more levels - but for what it is currently, it's top notch!

Very cute game, dont usually like playing puzzles but this one really caught my attention

Great example of how simplicity can sometimes be the best! There's no fancy graphics or crazy spectacles at work, but the concept is brilliant and the execution delivers. I usually don't love puzzle games but this one stuck with me. Also, the fact you made it on a phone is crazy - nice work!

My only feedback would be to work on the art style: there's an awkward blank space in between the buttons and the game, and the game as a whole feels a little bit disconnected in terms of art.

Besides that, this is a strong entry - I really enjoyed playing and this was an impressive interpretation of the theme!

I'd have said that this is polished for something that's created in 2 days--but the game is just polished in general! It's a very simple, direct interpretation of the theme. There are some uninvited guests you have to get out, and you get clues. Although i did have to refresh my English because i totally forgot the difference between row and column haha. Also, I have no idea if it's a part of a public asset pack or something, but the music is a VIBE. it's stuck in my head. the art's okay, though it did feel slightly generic. overall, i had fun with the game, and more importantly, it was fun enough for me to finish all 6 levels!

Great game!

Keep it up.
