The game's concept is really interesting and creative. I liked how we control both the ghost and the humans, although I found it a bit confusing at first.
The controls are easy and responsive; I didn’t have any issues with them. Despite being simple, they manage to add an interesting variety to the gameplay, as the puzzles are designed in a way that the progression feels constant, and there’s no sense of stagnation.
I did experience some collision issues at certain points in the game, mainly when trying to pass through the orange walls. I know there’s the pumpkin mechanic where the ghost or human can’t move depending on whether the pumpkin is activated or not, so I can safely say these were just some small bugs haha, as they happened when one of the characters was supposed to move but simply wouldn’t. However, this didn’t really affect the gameplay overall.
Ambient sounds or even background music would have really helped create a more immersive atmosphere, which is a shame that’s missing. However, I understand, given that the time we had to make our games was pretty short.
Great puzzle game, no doubt it was fun and interesting. I think I reached the end—my ghost disappeared, and I couldn’t do anything else. Was that the actual ending, or did something go wrong? I have no idea.
Either way, great work! I wish you success and good luck with the jam!
