How does the game fit the theme?
The cute Smileys are the enemies, and they are trying to destroy the cargo you have to manage.

How many people are on your team?

cool concept and crane is pretty fun. found it kind of easy and like the smileys didnt do much. could be interesting if expanded.

Really interesting, the mechanics of the game allow for quite a few wacky strategies to consider:
- drop the smiley crates before they are freed, so that the smileys do not join the enemy forces
- drop the early crates in (regardless of content) in a way to block the enemy forces
- perhaps bait the enemy forces to jump out of the map? (I managed to do it in isolated instance, but doing this consistently would be pretty difficult)
- ...?

I'm not sure if i'm just a bad player, but dodging the attacks (especially early, when there are no obstacles in the gmae) seems impossible. Hence the wacky strats I came up with :)

It would also be cool to have a way to extend the game duration somehow. Under such conditions, it would be interesting to see if there is a strategy perpetually extends the game duration and farms infinite score. (E.g. I suppose if the level becomes cluttered, the enemy forces have a harder job)

ok, after watching someone else's gameplay it seems that the difficulty depends on the specific computer. E.g. on my laptop the smileys are jumping way faster, whereas on others you can dodge them by just moving forward

That was an awesome idea! With a full game release approach, this game could become a great Steam title! Good job!

Okay, hear me out. Leaving the problems I had controling the game on WebGL aside, I feel this is a pretty interesting entry. I feel like the concept is quite original, and even tho the gameplay seems simple for now, I can picture myself playing something like this if it turned into some kind of deckbuilding/roguelike. Something like Peglin or Dungeon Clawler. Never been a fan of smileys  so I can't picture them as cute, I don't think this quite fits the theme, BUT, you got my attention with this one. Good job there!

The core idea is very interesting. It would need some kind of choice or action from the player in order to make the gameplay more appealing.

cool game , would be nice to add an audio setting

fun game :) but, consider some additional keys? arrows work (my preference) but Down is scrolling down your page. with WASD, the X key is covered by my left hand (while i'd like to use both ;) ). Maybe a FullScreen button will alleviate my frustration :)

Thanks a lot for your feedback! In addition to WASD controls I have included the Space Bar as an alternative to the X key. There’s also a fullscreen button now. Really appreciate your suggestions!
