Very nice and simple story! I like it!

It was nice to see a more story-focused entry, I loved the concept of being the last of an adventuring party, and the story felt very bittersweet. My only thought was maybe some nice ambient music or audio would fit well, the environment was so pretty I felt like it would have been a nice touch. Overall though, really nice job!

Thank you!

I am glad you loved the concept and felt the bitter sweetness of the Keeper of the Graves!

I definitely should fix the music up. My only change to it thus far was to make it not super loud. I definitely put this through as a rush job, and I knew if I kept tweaking things it would never stop.

I like the vibe. Cool game

The character portraits look really good. The story reminded me of Frieren. This was the first click to move game in this jam that actually felt good to use. Great job.

Thank you. I used "Game Character Hub: Portfolio Edition" to create the characters. It works wonderfully with RPG Maker.

A Frieren comparison is very appreciated!

Such a solemn concept. You never really get to see what happens after all the adventure. Nice job!

I like RPGs, and I like the story this little game carries with it.

This was a lovely short rpg maker game, buut... why does she have all her friends buried in her backyard? o_O

Developer

Thank you!

You know... I am not sure o.O....

Let's go with: she was the party priestess/healer and (due to a divine revelation) knew she would be the last. Thus, she kept coffins on hand in her dimensional storage for when her party members fell... yeah... Imma go with that!

I hope you like my impromptu explanation!

I really like the RPG vibes and how compelling the characters were. The main character moves pretty fast for an old lady :). Can you also rate my game?

Nice little game and idea. My only real criticism is that it is very tedious to constantly go in and out, in and out to get the memorabilia for the visitors.

RPG vibes! Keep up the good work :)

Cool game! I'm glad the main character was someone older, I don't see that so often! I think I was a little lost on the story because I saw the ghost-like sprites for everyone when they were walking around, then they turned back to humans in the graveyard. Hopefully intentional! It was easy to play and I appreciate that the walking was fast, because I kept walking into the rock on the right side lol. Keep making stuff! :)

Developer

Thank you!

The change from specter to character was definitely on purpose, although I do want to make them look more "ghostly" if/when I update it. At the very least, maybe they will float up and down or something 😅

I'm always excited to see an RPG maker game, it hits me hard in the nostalgia, and this was fun, I wasn't 100% sure what to do at points, but I had a fun time exploring the grove and enjoying the vibes.
