- I really like your time slowing mechanic! Excellent job pairing it with screen effects + sound effects to clearly define when the mechanic was running!

Quite liking the idea here! But I agree on another comment that it would’ve been better if the moving tiles moved the character as well.. this was a bit too hard for my liking :)
Could be done in a later stage by adding a “slippery tile” which would slip you off while it’s moving. But for first time user experience it was a bit too hard :))
Well done regardless, I really like the idea and the visual affect of slowing down time was also cool!
I wanted to catch the cat soo badly! Me encanta los gatos. I like your idea of slowing time down. I also like the screen effect when time is slowing down.
If I had to give feedback I would say add an animation for jump. The spring can be compressed and released when jumping. And with a bit of trail effect it would look great. Also when I fall, an animation to show the failed attempt and a little sand to express sadness. But overall a great jam game!
Also if you decide to work on it a bit more after the jam - do make a tutorial. It wasn't the best experience to close the window to read for how to slow down time.
Haha, you can maybe reach one of them ,level 6 I think !
Thank you for this constructive feedback! I have a few of these pointers on my list for the later update ,so will drop a comment here once I get to it!
With the screen effect , I finally managed to learn how to manipulate post processing with code, so that will be useful later ; )
Tutorial is a good call, I am also thinking about a bit of narrative. What is Mr Spring doing there, what's up with the time moving fast and why are the cats following him ?!
Fun fact : the cat animation was a very first pixel art animation I made 😅
Fun concept! The cat, the slow-mo, the tricky jumps; everything fits together in a fun, chaotic way. A bit tricky at spots but super enjoyable. nice jam effort! 🐾
Cool little game! I love platformers, would be nice to have the regular speed being a bit slower and have a meter of how much you can slow down time - so you would have to carefully manage the slow down but at the same time still be able to pass at full speed. Nice idea!
A spring that wont spring when pressed!! absurd!! haha great game however indeed kinda tough! the choice to not be transported by the platforms made it interesting! people would assume they move you but nooo fall and retry! It would do wonders with some more animations and to live up to the springs name!! cudos! great work!
The bullettime visuals look really nice, and I love how the cat and all the graphics come together. It was a bit hard for me, I gave up at level 2, but well done!
