Playing Ame felt like coming home to the province after years away . The quiet roads, the wind, the air heavy with memories you can’t quite name. The pixel art captured that familiar warmth, but there’s something haunting underneath it. An old nostalgic feeling when you just returned to your home province here in Cebu and you get to experience what it was like being a kid again.   It’s both comforting and unsettling, like walking through your old hometown and realizing how much has changed and how much hasn’t.

From a game play perspective, it’s simple but immersive. The pacing encourages to interact with the environment rather than being ignorant to it, which suits the tone perfectly. Also love how the horror aspect is integrated around the lore behind it, makes you really play the game a second time to find out what you missed on your first playthrough hahaha.
