Truly wonderful art, polish, general UI, and so on. The depth here is impressive. 👏👏👏
Really cool game. Implementing a proper settings menu, music player, achievements, etc. in the span of 9 days is quite the feat! The gameplay was simple yet enjoyable, the graphics were nice, and I loved the music. I played through the game a couple times and tried to do some achievement hunting. Unfortunately, I ran into a lot of bugs, some of which were game-breaking, so I didn't manage to get all the achievements. The bugs I ran into, in no particular order:
Bugs aside, I did have a lot of fun playing this one!
Nice cut scenes and art, I like the monsters and the sounds, the collision was a little off is my only complaint but it was fun!
Nice opening cutscene, nice artwork and graphics (although I prefer it when it maintains the same style between gameplay and interludes)! You’ve created a really comprehensive settings menu, but it occasionally freezes when selecting a voice.
Great work! Only annoying bug: I tried returning to the starting room and talking to Rodakina, and… I couldn’t select anything. =(
Thank you for your feedback and for playing our game!
You created a really cool characters, they gonna take some place in my mind for a while! Art - no words. It's a really beutifull work!
Great entry, it's was really fun!
Thank you SO much for playing our game and for your kind words!
Wow, you guys managed to pull off a lot in such a short amount of time!
The game is pretty fun, the only hiccup I ran into was getting stuck while trying to walk through rooms, or immediately walking into an enemy.
Nice job!
Thank you very much, my friend! This was our second year of doing Wild Jam games as a team; internally we felt like this was an anniversary game so we went all out on it! Thank you so much for playing our game.
I loved the intro cutscene and the companions!
Thank you so much!!
Very pretty game! I adored the artstyle and I think the concept of a dungeon delver mixed with a monster trainer game is a really fun idea! The combat was alright, though the fact that my character was sliding around a lot at high speeds made it feel a little bit janky. I loved all the different monsters, though I wish it was more clear what some of them did? All around a fun game! Great job!
Thank you for playing! Some of the Antipal creatures give speed boosts, so that may have been part of your issue there. We'll keep it in mind to make that all more clear when revisiting these concepts!
I really love your opening cutscene work. It’s neat! I think I needed more groundwork on the lore, because I was surprised by some of the later dialogue. It’s amazing how many sprites you made over the course of the jam! Does gumishark actually bite enemies? I didn’t see him do anything. Was I missing a control to command him?
Pixel artist here, thank you so much! Unfortunately due to time we had to cut some corners, one of which being Gumisharp having a more obvious biting animation. We can look more into the ability once the jam concludes.
Thank you again for playing our game!
