That's a pretty smart idea. Direction of the boss can be unpredictable. Anyways it made me want to see more different attacks and bosses!
thank you for the feedbazk
Nice game, visuals and sounds were good. The gameplay is simple but effective, the bosses were fairly simple to work out their attack patterns but feedback from hitting them was great. I only wish there were more of them but given it's a jam game you did great! CAW!
Thanks ! I agree I wish I had more time to put more
A cool boss rush game. Looks good! I agree with @Voltz Supreme that the music is nice, but doesn't really fit the action. It would be nice you you gained extra moves / abilities to add more variety to the attacks.
thank you so much for the feedback!
Nice work!
The music is very nice, but imo it did not match the silliness and intensity of the game.
thanks for the feedback!
Interesting game
The first guardian movement is straightforward so as long as we are not in it's straight or diagonal path, player will be fine. Good intro boss
The second boss is kinda too much compared to first boss so if you plan to continue this further, I think adding in between them will be better.
and then, for the browser, if possible can you add lock mouse within the window?
sometimes my mouse click the close button accidentally :"D
The animation is really good but maybe add some indicator that player attack is still in cooldown
thank you so much for the feedback really appreciate it
game has potential, visuals look pretty cool, and intro cutscene was interesting... 😗
some critiques though:
thanks Mr crow 🥔
Very nice! Honestly loved it, the difficulty was actually something that I enjoyed. Even if it was hard, it reminded me of how awful I am at these kinds of games lol, but yeah after learning the attack patterns it was an enjoyable playthrough for me. Congrats on submitting!
thank you so much!
This game is one of the most visually beautiful I've seen on this jam, I love the art and the character designs, and the opening comic is really cool. However, same as others I found it way too difficult and I didn't manage to get past the snail. I did like how the snail telegraphed it's direction by facing the way it was about to go, but I still really struggled to land hits on it without getting hurt myself. Thanks for sharing your game!
thank you so much for the feedback :]
Very cute game! However it is REALLY difficult. At this rate it'll be fall for all of eternity lol. I will admit that I am not the best at video games but it was really hard to attack when the health is so low and the attack has almost no range. With the close combat it feels like there are no openings to hit the enemies. Definitely not a fight within my skill level but I can see how a better player would be able to win. I do really like the idea though! Great job :)
thank you for the feedback!
This is a great looking game but I did not find it comfy - it was a bit stressful. The tutorial level was a nice touch but I think I would’ve liked a easier battle or two to get used to the attack against a “live” enemy.
thank you for the feedback i appreciate it!
Very cool game and the crow was challenging, but after a few tries I managed to free winter. Really liked the art and animations as well. I played on a trackpad, which definitely made it more difficult, but I still managed to do it. I very much appreciated the large hitbox of the player attack. Made it way more forgiving and less frustrating. Job well done and excellent entry! Thanks for making and sharing it!
thank you so much for the feedback!
Challenging game, the non-stop attacks and the active contact damage are the main challenges for me to find the opportunity to strike. Most time, I had to strike the area where the enemy is going to end up, instead of strike the area where the enemy is, while it's in motion. The hit feedbacks are clear, but more(hit flashes, hit particles) would be better. The player attack direction is misaligned with the cursor, if the direction isn't altered, there's no need for the attack direction indication at all.
But all others seem fine, the amount of artworks are a lot and music is nice. I hope that I provided some useful infos.
Thank you so much for the feedback i agree with you on the attack feedback, and the curser thing is a kinda a long bug XD really thanks for the feedback
Fun game, really enjoyed it and the bosses are pretty challenging, which makes the game pretty engaging. My only critique would be that it's not exactly comfy since the battles are pretty intense, so not really on theme, but it was fun and I also really liked the music and the cutscene. Nice work!
Thank you so much, the theme of this jam wasnt comfy and the comfy part was only talked about the experience making the game not the game it self. but thank you for the feedback!
I liked it, it's funny we did the same concept but the other way around, where you're actually fighting winter instead of freeing her. Unlike the first commenter I would actually say I thought it was a bit slower than I expected, but it was fun nonetheless.
I have a small nitpick against the music, it did not feel like it really fit the game that well? Something more fast-paced might have felt better.
I quite liked the bosses' designs though, do you plan on making more?
Thank you so much! i will tell the music producer about the feedback, currently i don't plan on making more, it was kind of a prototype of a game ive been thinking of a while, but its not even close to what i want to do in that game, so to answer honestly im not really sure if yes its going to be a completely different game, really thank you for the feedback!
but its really funny we did the same concept XD
Tell me what you think if you give it a try haha
i will :
Loved the art music and vibes! The gameplay (being boss rush) was a bit intense and not super comfy, I also found it quite difficult (couldn't get past the first boss after a few tries). Outside of Comfy Jam context though I think it's a really promising concept that would likely find an audience. Really nice work! Probably the best opening cut scene I've seen so far FWIW :)
thank you so much, the cozy part of the jam is ment to how you make the game and not to stress about it not the gameplay, really thank you for your feedback I really appreciate it!
