Really impressive entry: narrative, art and gameplay were all so on point! I loved the designs of all the different characters appearing on their doorsteps, and the cooking mini game was super satisfying. My favorite part was stamping the boxes - such a nice touch. Congrats on your wonderful game!

Soothing satisfying loop and all the artwork is so clean and cohesive! The different food sprites look especially gorgeous and I love the little Halloween decorations. I played for about 5 days, so I don't know if there's more of a plot but I enjoyed the character interactions I got to see. Excellent work on such a polished entry!
I wanna play more of this because the story seems charming but the second platforming section was so brutal lol. The tiny platforms under the really low ceiling in the graduation section, I tried so many times but never managed it or felt much improvement. I took so long that the music stopped lmao. Regardless though, the art looks really clean and I enjoyed what I did see! Thanks for sharing your game!
Art is super strong, especially the attention to detail with the furniture in the hotel, and the little bats that follow the vampires. SFX were also great, my favorite being the little 'ugh' noise that the vampires make lol. It all feels very polished. My main crit would be that I think the rooms changed so much that I never got much sense of where anything was. I think part of the point was meant to be that we remember where different rooms are, but I don't think I ever got to that point. It was mainly just running around looking for the right room lol. I also didn't ever notice the customer's patience bars go down so I don't know if there's a possible bug there. Really strong entry overall tho, thanks for sharing!
Beautiful and pretty chill to play! I love that you used so much traditional art in the game. The whole thing is very reminiscent of the board game Calico, especially with the cute buttons. I do wish there was more nuance to the tile rearranging because currently it mainly feels like busywork trying to arrange them and the cat doesn't add too much challenge. Thanks for sharing your game!
Nice work so far, the colored pencil artstyle is very lovely and unique! Main crit from what we can see so far is that the shinnies aren't very shinny. They blend into the background very easily, so it would be good if they were lighter, a bit bigger, and more exaggerated. A little sparkly animation wouldn't go amiss either. Thanks for sharing your game and good luck with developing it further!
Lovely idea for a game, I really enjoyed it. I like how the leaves don't perfectly match the shape on the page to show that natural variation. I can imagine the game being paced out a bit more, like if grandma gives you just a few to find at once, and then you report back and she tells you about the leaves you just found, then gives you some more to find. If this game is intended to teach about leaves then spreading out the info a bit more rather than having it all at the end could help. Lovely entry tho, thank you for sharing your game!
Nice concept and use of the theme, and the artwork feels quite polished! I love all the autumnal views from the car. I think the pace could be slightly faster as I found it a bit too sedate at times, and it would be cool to see more depth and layers to the environments we're photographing. We could have more variation and opportunities to capture things in the foreground or background. Thanks for sharing your game!
Really nice ambience and attention to detail with the cute character animations at different stalls. I could do with a bit more gameplay but I did really enjoy just wandering around and looking at all the cute items and waiting for bargains. It definitely captured that market experience. I managed to leave with 6 items I think. The art is cute, but I would recommend sticking to one size of pixel for a cohesive look. The sign for the market especially uses much smaller pixels so it doesn't fit in with a lot of the other artwork. Thanks for sharing your game!
Yay another Pico 8 game! I'm super impressed by this inventory system, I can't even imagine how you achieve that. I'm also ashamed to say that this is how I find out that you can use the mouse in pico games lmao. The game runs very nicely and looks cute, nice polish and animations. I could have used a bit more guidance because I felt like I was achieving things by accident a lot of the time but I did enjoy figuring out what each cat liked. I'm not sure if there's an endgame but I played for about 20 mins. Thanks for sharing your game!
Delightful little game and lovely concept. Let this child experience whimsy at a funeral!!! Art is gorgeous as others have said. The gameplay puts me in mind of old flash games like devilish hairdresser about trying to do things while not getting caught lol. I can imagine a longer version of this with different mini games for different parts of the funeral. I agree with other comments that there could be a tiny bit more tutorialising because it took me a few tries before I realised that jumping was more effective than walking over the leaves. Congrats on a beautiful entry!
This is actually a banger! It was quite hard to stop myself from playing lol, it's so soothing and satisfying. I could definitely see myself playing a full version that's more polished and developed. I didn't realise the book of leaves existed at first, but it didn't matter because the properties were conveyed well through the designs, and it was fun getting to guess and be correct. I adore the art of the different teas, especially the garden tea with the fungus growing up the cup. Some small critiques - the mint leaf in particular was very glitchy and I had two just permanently stuck to the mat by the end of my play session aha. I also think some customer requests might not be possible to fulfil. I got asked for clairvoyance tea with 3/4 fruitiness and I couldn't see a possible arrangement that could make that happen. Anyway, thanks for sharing your game, definitely one of my favourites that I've played!
Cool art, I would have liked if all of it followed the sketchy handmade style of the characters. It put me in mind of the doodles made in the margins of schoolbooks which feels appropriate for a coming-of-age theme. The mixture of photos edited in different ways made it feel inconsistent visually. I do think some of the writing could have been more concise, and it was a little hard to follow. Some more sound effects and visuals might have helped to tell the story. Like a shift in sound/visuals when the character has his weird reality shifts (if that's what's happening). Thanks for sharing your game!
Could use more polish but this is super cute! I would like to see more variety of offerings, more environment variation, and more little animations to make things feel more alive. But there's already plenty of lovely details - I especially love the intro/tutorial being done in an ink painting kind of style, that's a great touch! Well done for challenging yourself and thanks for sharing your game!
Really cool, I love flicking back and forth between the different islands, and the combo of the abstract 3d environments with the 2D ghosts looks very fun and unique. Feels tamagotchi-esque which doesn't really make sense but that's how it feels to me. Like a weird funky pet sim. I can imagine a more polished and developed version of this being awesome. Thanks for sharing your game!
This seems really cool! Had some crashes quite early, but it's impressive to see this kind of mechanic being implemented. The way the light was effected by obstacles was great. I'm sure you're wanting to polish this further and add narrative and missing artwork etc, but from what I've seen the main crit is probably that the music feels a bit too intense. I want to ease in to the spookiness. Thanks for sharing your game!
Agree with others that there needs to be a mouse sensitivity option. I like this premise a lot, but I got confused quite easily. More UI would help I think! For example I thought I had gathered all the clothes in the house because I couldn't find any more, but then didn't know if I had started the wash or if there was something I was missing. Might be helpful to have something on screen that says 0/7 clothing items or similar so that you know your progress, same with other tasks. I also had an issue where I couldn't interact with anything after picking up the sweeping brush and didn't know how to put it down lol. Thanks for sharing your game!
A nice chill atmospheric experience, I played to the end and it definitely had me feeling like a creature. I wasn't sure at first how the limitation came in then caught the squirrels moving stuff aha. My main crits would be that having the houses be described by color isn't very helpful when you can't see the color very well in the darkness, and also that the game world could be a bit smaller. Like I feel like it could be 2/3s of the size or even half and then the world would feel fuller and there'd be less long, uneventful runs back and forth. Thanks for sharing your game!
I love the Orb, I live for the Orb. Really fun one, I played for about 25 minutes before wanting to move onto other games but I was quite absorbed. (or, should I say, absORBed) This must have been a challenge to pull off, with the puzzle design, gradual buildup of difficulty and the introduction of mechanics. My fave level I played was the one with the camera. I noticed a couple of oddities - main one that stuck out was in the puzzle where you had to place one of the orbs up on a balcony. If I looked down through the railings at the orb below, it would disappear if it passed behind a railing. But if I was below, looking at the orb above through the railings, it would stay. Other than that though it was pretty tight! My only other criticism is that the theming could be a bit more unique. I do love the Orbs but the Orbs could be anything with the same great mechanics. Thanks for sharing your game!
Another super charming jam entry from you guys! I got distracted from my actual cooking while playing lol. The cooking mama style gameplay makes me very nostalgic, and I loved all the fun touches like the tail knocking things off, the sniffing mechanic, and the knife being replaced with a claw as the character became more wolfy. Super creative, great work!
I feel so bad for tormenting these ghosts lol. This was quite cute and satisfying, I did get a bit absorbed. I was definitely feeling for the lack of a bin. I may have overlooked it but it made things difficult because if I didn't get a customer's order in time, there was no way to clear my inventory as far as I could tell to pick up something new, so I just had to wait until someone else wanted the same thing. I also think the artwork could look more polished if there weren't different sizes of pixels - there are many cute elements but it looks a bit inconsistent. Thanks for sharing your game!
Pretty perfect jam entry. The mindful experience of small domestic tasks, the distinct character voice, the beautiful artwork and the complete emotional narrative. If I had to nitpick about one tiny thing, I'd say the old man should have a shadow so he matches the rest of the beautiful golden hour feel. Stunning work, thanks for sharing your game!
Very cute game, put me in mind of cooking mama with all the mini games. Having to wipe your eyes during the onion slicing was a nice touch. I did have some lag as others have mentioned, but I successfully made it to the end so that my family could insult my soup. I think I did badly with the rhythm game style cooking towards the end as I wasn't sure what to do until about halfway through, so some more tutorials could be helpful. I also had some oddities with the 'which is the right ingredient' game, because for both the cream and milk, I was presented with two completely identical objects as far as I could tell. Anyway, it's a nice game overall and could be really good with a bit more polish. Thanks for sharing your game!
I'm actively trying to not get too into this because I wanna play lots of games and I can see myself getting very hooked on this lol. The art style, concept and gameplay are super fun and I love to see the little dudes working while my back is turned. I do think some sound effects would go a long way. I found myself wishing for a 'pie's done!' noise so that I knew when to go back and grab the pie for example. Some stuff was also a little counter intuitive, like putting the apples in the bin to receive money. Anyway great work on your entry!
Very interesting concept, very satisfying. The positioning of cameras to look at objects for you is super interesting. I did get stuck with the swapping objects? Could maybe have used a bit more tutorial for that. As others have said, no autumn theming, but otherwise it's great. You could theme an idea like this in so many ways and it would still work because the core gameplay is great. Thanks for sharing your game!
Very fun take on an exit 8 style game! It feels polished and nice to play, and the way the character tells you what you missed makes for a much more chill version of this genre. I also love the art style - charming, cohesive and fun! The character telling their mother all the weird things they saw at the end of the run is a great touch and such a fun way to round off the experience. We all love to tell our mother about The Horrors. Thanks for sharing your game, probably my fave I've played so far!
This is very satisfying and delightful, just feels nice to play, and the art is simple but super cute. Main crit from what I played is that it would be nice to have a more accessible restart level button (unless I missed it?). I ended up quitting around level six because I kept getting into a position where I couldn't restart or finish the level, and needed to exit out to the menu every 20 seconds. Easier restart would definitely make for a more frictionless experience. Thanks for sharing your game!
This game has insane aura and I love the bizarro crunchy environment art. I love a low stakes kind of adventure like this about a child doing a mundane task. I do wish there was more gameplay, like if you could actually do something to avoid being distracted for example. I also feel like the sprites (mum, bread, birds) don't really match the environment art? They look too round and squishy. The meowing cat png fit in perfectly. Thanks for sharing your game!
I like the little ghostie designs and the concept, but this could defo use a lot more polish. The sound effects and music are quite inconsistent, and as others have said there are conversations that don't give you an option to leave. It was quite difficult to interact with other characters too, as you would have to be in such a tiny specific area. Also the way the text box covers up most of the screen - I wanna see those ghosts!!! I would love to see this more developed because I love the art and the idea of finding cute trinkets for cute ghosts. Thanks for sharing your game!
I agree with some other crits that the background is sometimes unreadable, and that more tutorial in the beginning would help. But I had fun overall and made a very horrible poem (which is probably why I didn't attract any waifus). This format did cause me to make fun associations between words I wouldn't usually think of, so I can imagine it working well as a tool for inspiration. Thanks for sharing your game!
This was quite charming and made me laugh lol. I like that I can just choose to opt out of the horror experience and have an extremely normal time by not inviting the scarecrow's retribution. Honorable mention to the fun layered effect you have with the trees in the background - I love stuff like that. Thanks for sharing your game!
