Game Description
"Num Crum Match" is an arcade spatial puzzle game about numbers, crumbling, and matching. Place the numbers strategically to block or direct the crumbling and score higher!
How does your game tie into the theme?
The number crumbling mechanic symbolizes the theme of decay, in an abstract way. Numbers are repeatedly broken down by half until it reach 0. The player has to work smart around the decaying numbers and avoid having the whole board filled with 0!

I thought it would be an ordinary 2048, but here it turns out to be much more interesting! It's pretty cool to have a good time, nice graphics, pleasant gameplay that makes you think, but not too much effort. I'd even download it to my phone and goof off while I'm going somewhere or something. Awesome project!

Really cool idea and presentation. Not sure i follow the decay theme but I kept going back to beat my high score
thanks! The theme "decay" inspired me to come up with gameplay ideas centered on "numbers splitting". Then from there, I didn't really think much of the theme anymore, that's probably why you don't feel a strong sense of the theme XD

Great visuals, and the game loop feels really polished, it’s a really great game. I’m not sure I really picked up on the decay theme, but aside from that, amazing work. By the way, may I ask what font you used?
Hey, thanks! And totally understandable, you don't get the theme from this game. This game indeed doesn't scream "decay". Actually, the numbers breaking down half and half symbolize the decomposition nature of decaying things. It's in an abstract way of interpretation, though.

I watched my husband @bearwithhands play this for about half an hour saying things off and on like:
"This is a game!"
"I think I just got crummed."
"This is a real game!"
"This is really fun!"
"I think I just did a genius move there."
