Music was nice and chill which was pleasnt, this came off a casual chill click all the boxes simulator. I appreciate all the effort for items on the reciept, there was a lot of individual unique items and I especially enjoyed finding the gold high value item boxes on the shelf. I was expecting a new department to look slightly different in some regard but I believe its the same layout and structure.

The controls itself was actually not bad, I think I would like to see less friction when hitting some objects by accident and a slight buff to range when clicking on valued boxes as sometimes I had to do an awkward reverse which made me feel like a big bus doing a weird reverse park maneuver lol.

The cute cat was endearing and I love the overall theme, Lots to improve on but that’s not to say this is a bad game, far from it, with some extra polish I could see the appeal and addtiveness of this shine through.

Interesting game concept, not sure if more could be added to make this more fun like having isle boards for sections like electronics isle and vegetable isle and you had a to go to the front of the store, pick up a shopping list from luxury customs and rush around the isles to pick up their shopping list.

holy what a nice text to read in the morning, thanks for playing the game, glad you enjoyed it. About the differences in departments, we were planning on having different colors and those big signs showing what department you are, you know? but, this game was kind of a challenge for the team, this was one person’s first game jam/game, for another was the first time in years doing 3d, and for me it was my first attemp to do a 3d game, so I guess we just had too much to learn in the making of this one.

I think that this game as if for the game jam’s limitation, was very good, since, this is an pratically an uneding suply of money, but, if we keep this going, I feel the lack of “game play”, in this, it’s too much “chill” in my opnion, I feel the lack of an objetive, or at list self expression oportunities.

Maybe a groceries shopping list could be an idea, who knows! anyway, thanks again for playing, glad you enjoyed it, and at this point, thanks for reading this reply ;)

For what it’s worth you and the team put together something very good and polished. Working in a team brings new challenges that are hard to navigate. So, well done team!

Watching the receipt grow endlessly was hilarious! I really enjoyed aligning myself with the shelves and zooming past as I pick up everything

Developer(+1)

thanks for playing! and I have to confess that that was the one thing I kept doing when testing the game haha

Great job man. Reading the shopping list as your buying is hilarious!

Developer(+1)

yooo, thanks for playing! glad you found it funny :D

You're clearly onto something here because I just spent like 15-20 minutes doing nothing but spending money I don't have on things I won't own, just to see what comes up on the receipt and to see what you came up with for the next department. Great work!

Developer

well, I’m really glad to hear that! thanks for playing 😄, if I end up expanding on this idea I’ll spend extra time doing the products then, thanks for the feedback

It’s really funny, I love that it’s basically a shopping simulator but you’re a millionaire XD. The only bad thing maybe is that it’s very easy for the cart to get stuck on the walls or between the boxes left on the floor, but aside from that it’s a pretty hilarious game XD

Developer(+1)

billionaire* but yeah! thanks for playing, so sad about you getting stuck, my original idea was for the boxes to explode if you ran into them, but, you know how it is, right? had no time ahah, I’ll try to make the player not get stuck so easily on the was when the voting ends

Absolutely fantastic game! You all took an out of the box approach with the limitation and I really like it, it's a clever idea. The actual gameplay is pretty fun, very easy to just mindlessly run down the aisles and watch the receipt get longer.

Very unique concept with a great execution overall, genuinely fantastic work!

you are too kind! thanks for playing the game! actually me and a friend were talking right after I finished uploading this game to the jam, and I got kinda lost just braindeadly walking around and turning the corners and seeing the stuff fall off while we talked on VC, it’s a fidge spinner of a game haha

  • The physics-based cart is a really hard mechanic to pull off, but you did it quite well.

  • I couldn’t proceed to the next department after I’d fully stocked up.

  • The receipt with all the products looks really nice.

oh yea, thanks for playing the game and for the kind words! :D

there are like, only 5 departments, I was like super surprised to see that even after inputing crazy numbers and stuff to buy like the gdp of small countries and islands, the money didn’t run out, anyway, we had a little bit of trouble at the end of the game jam, I’ll probably add a proper ending to the game, but I think what you experienced is actually the end of the game, just the realization that you spent almost anything of the fortune, kinda sad too lol

Unfortunately the web version doesn't seem to work for me at all. The concept does sound fun to play though!

    Developer

that’s super sad, but there are desktop versions of the game if you wanna try again later :)

Cute concept and nice art! It has the beginnings of a Supermarket Sweep video game or something.

yo, thanks for playing the game, that was someone pointed out while I developed the game on stream, I had never heard of that program tho, fuper fun idea too haha
