Everything is super majestic in form, i am really pleased with this submission.
Some are saying they can't see what the correlation is but if Alfred is going through death and reincarnation the unknown realms are kind of spiritual, the vibe of the cover art is like the leper king of Jerusalem in the Kingdom of Heaven movie kind of.
Cheers!

Alfred's Kingdom: The orchestral textures have a chilling regal and emotional nature to them that I think represents a kingdom well, or maybe a falling kingdom. The use of solo instruments gives a sense of intimacy and diminutiveness. I think this track could be used effectively in a film for an emotional scene. There is a lot of harmonic motion, but it does have a repetitive feel that I think could be remedied with a less repetitive melody line that sails over the rest of the orchestration.
Alfred’s Sentence: What I think is interesting about this track is that the overall feel I get when listening is one of despair or hopelessness, but the harmonic progression has an upward inflection which seems a little counter to the initial feeling. Maybe this is a clever injection of hope?
Alfred's Last Words: I think this is my favorite track of the OST! The piano/mallet plucks over the strings and brass give a pensive sound perfect for a poignant end of life moment. One instrument that I think is a creative choice is the use of the saxophone in the orchestration. It has such a nasal/reedy quality that it does give the overall sound a unique color that I think creatively represents what a medieval orchestra could possibly sound like.
Overall these are nice pieces that evoke strong emotional imagery and are quite cohesive with each other. I am feeling doubtful that they were composed for this particular jam though because I am not really getting any connection with the jam’s theme. If you have any context that could help me understand better, I’d appreciate it! Good work and thank you for sharing!
Feels wise, it really got them feels, but I'm not sure it's the right feels for this prompt.
Favourite track was Last Words as I felt that the piano elevated the rest of arrangement really well, but it did suffer from that same issue that all of them did where a chord sequence overstays it's welcome slightly.
I reckon that the same pieces would have a lot of longevity in terms of holding interest with a few substitutions of chords every now and then to add some flavour, or perhaps some more movement of the inner voices to keep it engaging. I think what's there is good, but a few changes could elevate it a long way.
Not sure what this has to do with the jam considering the cover art and names.
