You just can't praise music and art here! It's something with something, wow! But the game designer also did a great job - a quick restart, maintaining fixed platforms - you got rid of the problems that infuriate in other similar games where you have to wait a long time or do the same thing. Well done!
Wow thanks for your comment! :)
I'm happy that you felt the visuals and the music fit together, Andres and I are friends from long time ago and I think we vibe in the same way, it makes me happy that we achieved this with the game.
About the game desig. thanks a lot as well, I tried to solve exactly those tedious mechanics and looks like I did it! :))
Btw, I'm not sure I'll be able to play your game before the deadline because of family stuff... But it looks gorgeus!!
Great job! Super cool idea and I really appreciate how quickly restart/respawns happen. I didn’t make it past the last level, after several minutes and heart breaks I gave up. There were a few times I almost had it but missed a jump and at that point, the platform momentum was gone so I didn’t have a chance anymore. I wonder if it would have worked to save the state right when you hit go and have a “retry” to go back to that state in addition to the full reset. Loved the art/shader work!
Thanks for your comment! :)
I'm sorry to hear about that last level (you didn't miss anything interesting, actually, we didn't have time to make an ending xD)
Saving state would have beem interesting indeed, or maybe I should have keep the momentum of the start of the swing so it doesn't stop...
I'm glad you liked the art too, I'll tell Andres, the artist :)
Really fun take on a platformer and super challenging. I also couldn’t get past the second level, but I might have been distracted by the art. It is so beautiful. I especially love the backgrounds.
thank you so much!!
yes, second level is fucked in the browser version because of the rubble on the right, In the downloadable I think its fine haha
I'm glad you liked the art I' will tell the artist :)
Really cool concept, only slightly infuriating that the movement is momentum-based making it quite challenging
thanks, I'm glad it's just "slightly" infuriating and not unbearably infuriating hhaha
thansk for playing :)
Creative game design, I usually don’t like platformers but being responsible to create my own level gives it an interesting twist. I made it to the end, although the last two levels took me quite some attempts to make it.
The art and music works very well together and it creates a nice atmosphere.
Well done you two and keep it up.
yes! that was the idea, and there is where "fusion" comes in, "you have to puzzle your platforms", this was the sentence that lead us to this game.
I'm glad you like the atmosphere with the music and design, I think Andres did a great work with the art, adn I'm quite happy with the music too :)
thanks for your coment :)
A wildly original take on the theme, and one that I really enjoyed, despite some jank in the controls and the physics engine. I persevered to the end, but there doesn't seem to be an ending? Just a black room with no objects to suspend.
The art and music here both suit the theme really well - it gives everything a delightful sense of grunge.
wow thank you so much for your comment! I'm glad we managed to give it this "grungy" touch and that you can feel it when playing :)

you are totally right about everything about the jankiness. to be honest I encountered soooo many problems for this game. like halfway trough I changeg the physics engine to Rapier bevause pinjoints were shitty, and then, on sunday I realized the pinjoints were FREEZING the entire game when the character was nearby, so I had to go back to godot phisycs engine and find the way to make it "the least buggy possible" I think I managed somehow, but it still can be much much better.
about the ending, you're right, just a black room, I'm sorry for the disappointment!
we did have an ending where the character arrives to a space ship, but the space ship takes off without him, and then explodes in the air (fucking dramatic actually hahaha), but by sunday we were both tired and felt really old and we couldn't add it
here is the ending, for you to enjoy! haha:
shit, there is not movement (it's supposed to be a gif, but it's uploaded as an image), if you want I send it to you by discord! (I think it's a little nice animation
Pretty fun. The physics kinda crashed out on me a few times with the debris flailing about, but is thankfully easily fixed by restarting a level.
For a game made by one person, this is a very commendable game and I hope for your success in the jam and any further projects. :)
thank you so much!
it's not actually made by one person, since I have nothing to do with art (I have 2left hands in terms of drawing), and I think it is a really important part of the game's atmosphere.
about the debris getting crazy, you're totally right, I struggle a lot with physics, and changed the phisycs engine to Rapier, and then to Godot again because of the web compatibility. the downloadable version is waaay more stable than the web version.
thanks a lot for your kind words :)
This is definitely one of the underrated games in this jam. So good!
I can't read the language used in the game but was still playable. And oh boy didn't I love the "Super Hot" gimmick! Art and music are also super cool. I loved everything about it. Great job!!
* The move key was not A/D, it was Left and Right arrows
thak you so much for the comment :)
I'm gonna paste what I said to the previous comment: about the language, actually there is a laguage option in the menu, I wanted to go a bit further with the accesibility points, but it seems I will get the opposite hahaha it should be in english by default in fact, I have to work on that.
*also the arrows instead A/D is also configurable, and I messed a bit with the input map xD. I didn't have the time to make the label dynamic so it just stayed with the placeholder, little details I shoud work on I guess! :)
thanks again!
I really love the art and sound design, it's a great aesthetic. I think I see where you were going with the slowed time mechanic, and it's a cool concept. I wasn't able to progress past the second level though, it's too hard to get my hand from the mouse to the arrow keys fast enough to use the platform before it falls away.
Maybe if the objects fell a little slower after clicking start, or there was a countdown, or just allow the arrow keys to start the level without clicking.
The language barrier might have hurt in my case, I got the basic gist, but maybe there was an instruction I missed.
I'll download again and try some more if you DM me with tips on getting past that 2nd level!
wow thanks for playing!!

sure about that DMs with extra info!! :)
I was searching for you on discord, but you a rea pretty big studio, so if you could tell me who is this writting I will get in touch! :)
Very nice graphics and interesting idea, but… you move with arrow keys and not A/D! It’ difficult to make the jumps.
wow thanks for playing!
the controls are actually configurable in the menu, but you're right, I might have messed up with the input map at first, had so much trouble with the physics and had to upload an older version. Thanks for saying, I will change it when jam is over :)
I love the colors! Very cool, feels like the kind of stuff I would've played on Kongregate way back in the day.
Thanks! it means a lot that you took the time to play even if it's not browser-playable !!! :)
I will tell the artist that you liked the palette!
