this is so fun! I love big truck! the controls are so nice, love that music. I played these flash games a lot as a kind, so this pulled on my heart just a bit. (also for the record, I beat the game with big truck and aeromobile. tried with the shopping cart, but nah that’s gotta be impossible.

Not sure if its winnable with the shopping cart? :D

truck is like a tank, the other 3 can jump, but that shopping cart… well its a shopping cart after all

Great simple and fun game! Well executed and good juice on many fronts. My favorite part is the music and the blurry effect when getting close to losing.

This is the hidden gem of the jam. I have so many childhood memories just from screenshots. Hill-climbing race, you know. It's a great gameplay project, so much content - wow!

Really like this concept and the game loop

• Initially I was thinking it was too slow, and progression would be cooler without the unlock system you had. Then, I liked seeing those upgrades getting you further and further.
• The music changing with your speed and the vocals that pop up later were pretty sick. Kept playing for a bit to see the progression in the music. The dump truck is insane lol
• The interpretation of decaying battery is interesting, we had it flowing around in our team brainstorms, and its still slightly loosely connected, but I like this.
• The menu I had to be careful around because one select means its bought. Maybe if you click it once, it brings up a description menu where you buy it.
• The progression could be slightly faster at the start, but balancing during a jam you did great already. Also is some slight improvement possible in graphics, but again in the jam you have lots already.

I probably would want to make a game like this soon.

Really fun game! Reminds me a lot of the flash games I'd play growing up. The graphics and music are impeccable, I was vibing the whole time! I suppose I didn't quite understand how it tied in to the theme until I read the description, but otherwise really solid!

really fun gameplay loop here, awesome job! About day 9 i ran into a bug where my inputs weren't registered and it would autofail the level

I saw this get played on stream and it looked really cool! I'm glad I got around to playing it. I loved playing games like learn to fly back in the day so this was a nice take on that genre! Brought me back to those days :) Very addicting and well done! Thanks for making and sharing it :)

Nice work, I need to do other things but I just kept playing. Love how the building some “motion” to them, not sure how else to call the effect.

Finally got around to playing it after seeing it in nick's stream, this game was SOOO addicting, probably the most fun I've had playing a game this jam. I have finally become the Shopping Cart Hero in Uplift Drift

Really awesome game that tickled that flash game nostalgia so hard, I was mentally screaming when I saw the shop menu with the fake desktop with url bar, start button and all that stuff, so good. Quite the addictive gameplay as well!

This game was so fun. Like very addicting. Every time my battery runs out, that "just one more run" voice kicks in my head and... 20 mins passes. lol

I think I had a mini bug on my end where I didn't get to see the meters n stuff...? I see it on your screenshot but on my browser, not.

I don't see not many people reporting it so maybe that's just me.

Regardless, I enjoyed the experience. Great entry!

This game was a blast. I forgot how much I loved these style of games as a kid.  And the music is incredible!! I was very motivated to try keep going further to hear the awesome vocal section. I feel like the upper driving areas could have used something there. And I think you don't get money for a winning run, so I felt scammed since I still wanted to try the last car I hadn't unlocked. But I just got it with a new run real quick :) 

Really fun! I played through it twice to try to optimize my unlock path. Great selection of vehicles & upgrades.

My fav was the truck. You could just plow through everything. Could be nice to have some of the paths up top to have some goodies on them. Or have some ramps where you need to balance in air. But pretty cool!

This is a cool concept! I like the replay factor to encourage you to keep playing and save up for the upgrades. Also love the retro music. It fit perfectly. Excellent work!

Very fun, but I score better with the truck than the fly car =D
