Congrats for top spot!
Wow! So far, this is my pick for the best game of the jam!
It was often frustrating and occasionally too difficult to stack the boxes correctly. I attempted to complete it without using the help cube, but when I accidentally reset what I think was the last tower... (just as I was stacking all the boxes on the right-side I had to drop it.
The game is very polished, adorable, and the story integrates seamlessly with the gameplay. My only critique is that it overstays its welcome.
Oh wow, you got a follower on Twitter and on itch.
Extremely polished in every detail, definitely one of the best games of this jam. I didn't have the time to finish the game yet, but I will for sure. The game is full of LÖVE :)
Game looks and feels extremely polished, a real candidate for the #1 spot!
This was fantastic I played for ages I got stuck trying to get back out of the well after fetching the key. So good I loved every aspect your pixel art is beautiful. The small details like the chains and water were amazing loved this... following you :)
Stacking boxes taking too long sometimes, but the game looks very polished.
Perhaps if Ruleraht could learn to accommodate others, he would have someone to help move boxes 😔
This is incredible. The art is amazing, the sounds are amazing, the gameplay is amazing. My game is nothing compared to this, I genuinely hope this wins the jam.
Enjoyed everything the game had to offer very much. The art style, music and sound effects is right up my alley.
Took a while to learn the controls since I accidentally skipped the control tutorial.
In the tutorial level where you have to get put the box in the outline I kept jumping onto the platform your supposed to fall onto so I was stuck for a while.
The well level had too many puzzles back to back that I felt like using the [help I'm stuck] button to just skip some. Also I did soft lock myself a few too many times in there oops. The throwing box to the side mechanic was never explain so I was pretty confused on one well level. Found a bug of grabbing a box while jumping up.
On the final climb with the tower of boxes with the button at the top. That destructible platform is mean! I sighed when I fell lol.
I felt the game is generally good its just the back and forth with boxes is tiring. I also did get lost on where to go next a few times. I did use the [help I'm stuck] as another box pretty much which made the experience better for me.
I enjoyed trying to take down 'democracy' very much in this game
Never heard of the LÖVE engine before thats pretty cool
The game felt very polished and have a lot of content to go through for only a week. Good game!
Took me 53 minutes to beat and 73 falls!
so glad you took the time to go through it all!!
you shouldn't feel bad about using the help box that's what its there for :P
the box-regrab was kept in intentionally as another way for players to circumvent the intended solutions - which are sometimes really difficult for the game's length and require some lateral thinking!!
yess.... muehehehe! i know that final climbing room is a bit mean but i wanted to reinforce the amount of work the player has to do now that the place is mostly destroyed and make a more punishing final room considering if you got to that point you probbably would want to beat the game...
i did try to reduce the amount of softlocks that were possible, but i really couldn't prevent them all >.<
53 minutes is also pretty average for a run of the game compared to our testing! thanks for playing!
one of the top games of the jam imo!👏
