I was hoping for the theme and originality score to be higher on yours! Sad not to see it in top 20 :(
I got several endings. I liked how you created an efficient lore and even a detailed tutorial.
Fun fact: I decided to try killing everyone to see if there was a genocide ending, and the first one I ate was the assassin, lol.
very nice and fun game! I really liked the intro and tutorial but I didnt manage to get the good ending tho:(
fun game! Will replay it and add some additional feedback after getting all of the endings.
Simple, and sweet. I was able to get the good ending : ))
Its a neat concept but yeah I just killed random people in frustration of not finding the other killer lol
I like the game. Needs more refinement all the audio effect just confuse me so I muted the game and continued playing just looking for screen shakes. The art was very all over the place as well.
First ending I got was Ending 2: the ok ending
Was actually difficult to finish the game, as soon as the screen shook I just dashed around town looking for blood splatters to get Ending 2.
The camera is way too far zoomed in to find the killer, I was able to get Ending 3 after 15 minutes of trying, it was really hard. It also felt like the killer killed and the screen didn't shake because I keep on finding new blood splatter when no screen shake happened.
Excellent concept. Need work on execution.
thank you for the review!
ive never really done my own sound effects, and have never done my own music until just now, so i didnt really know what i was doing when creating them.
i also worked all alone and didnt receive any feedback until obviously submitting the game, so their were a lot of things that i wasnt sure if others would find to be good or bad, with one of them being the camera zoom. im also unsure about why blood splatter would occur for no reason.
anyways, sorry about those! if i find the time and do decide to continue working on this game, ill definitely look forward to working and fixing all those! once again, thank you a lot!
Cool little game! I really liked the art and how you drawed them, and I finally found the murdered!
a question: When I eat a villager, the particle effect remain active, is this intentional? Or a small bug?
keep on!
Thank you! As for the question, it is intentional. The effect staying when the murderer kills was very intentional so the player could find the path the murderer follows. And I did the same for when the player kills to be consistent. Although, I was debating on it being active temporarily, but ended up not going that route. What do you think? Should I keep it to remain active or make it only stay for a few seconds?
Everything in my brain as a pixel artist says that pixel coherence matters, but it somehow works with this game.
Love the way that you ignore the coherence of sizes between pixels, cool game, but i cant find the murder.
