Super cool project! Nice graphics, sound, and gameplay! I didn’t understand the movement straight away but I think that’s a me issue, I haven’t really play a game in this genre before. Very cool! Well done :)

I love being immersed in retro games. Although I didn't really catch them, I only got the console in 2009, but even then I played a lot on sega)
Everything is very cool done - graphics, sounds, mechanics. There is a lot of content and usable items, everything is explained clearly and clearly. It's a great project, and I'd love to play the full version.

I agree with the other comments about getting a few other options and mechanics in there but I also concur that this game is such a cool idea! The graphics and the music were on point and had the right type of retro feel. I know you can only get to so much during a game jam but I will give you a follow and hopefully you'll get to expand more upon this after the jam and I would definitely be interested in playing again!
