This is a very cool game mechanic. How did you make the match three and new items drop? Any tutorials or templates you would suggest?

To answer your question, here's the template I created a few months ago

A really quick and fun game, smooth animations, and a pretty cool gameplay. One of the best games I played in the jam.
A fun game where its core mechanic is twisted into a sort of roguelike. Would love to see this concept expanded upon! The different choices you could make on creating 'builds' were simple yet had depth; this game reminds me a bit of Battle Camp on mobile. :]
Genuinely a fun experience! A bit confusing at first to be honest haha- didnt know where to look or what to do XD Bu the familiar connection gameplay was quick to catch on to and the description after beating the first bot helped
The art is really cool even if its a bit overwhelming at first as the hierarchy of information isnt really clear (Im looking at the enemy bot design just as much as the main gameplay area haha)
Music fits so well and I adore the clanky metalic sfx hehe very fitting
The gameplay loop is honestly addicting!
Overall an awesome, innovative and fitting game for the jam but just a bit confusing at first ^^
Edit: Went back to play some more and just now realized that the colors have a rock-paper-scissor dynamic to them? :O so cool!
Love this! Original design and amazing artwork! Music actually fitting for gameplay. I left you a rating. Please give our Game Jam game a play if you have a minute.
Visually juicy! I love the effects they fit the theme of your game perfectly, and the SFX really enhance the experience. I had a great time playing this!
For feedback, I know you’re going for a white only aesthetic, but adding a bit of color variation might help readability for a match-3 game. Overall, though, this was one of my favorites so far. Great work!
I lost a solid hour to this
Genuinely so amazing; tons of quick thinking decision making, interesting risk and reward mechanics and well integrated rouge-like and RPG elements all toped off with some amazing art, polish, sound effects and game feel
10/10, astoundingly good; make it into a full game and I'd buy it in a heartbeat
