I love the vibe it's giving so much!!! The art style is so fantastic. Having so much fun playing it. Now, let me grab some food to watch some more "Trash" channel on the TV :))
The vibe is so unique . My favorite part is the "swipe" one, as 19 out of 20 times I swiped the wrong side o_O A really good and outstanding game, good job!
That's a really cool idea! It reminded me a lot of Mindwave (among recent indie games, it's clearly a reference to WarioWare). Great job, I really enjoyed the mini-games. The aesthetic is awesome. Love that you can compete for high scores:) Is 14 your actual? XD
Thanks for playing! 14 is the high-score of one of our play testers and yes, they get 13-14 often, its actually crazy. 13 is my personal best and it took me a very long time to get.
The screen effect is amazing, the mini games are straightforward. I cannot seem to pass CH8 on my trackpad though, I think better use a mouse when I can hahah
I love it, like the youtube dancing/sport videos but unique and bizzare, you game is trying to escape the mundane While My Game tries to be mundane and relaxing, check it put
Very interesting concept. I went through a few channels but I don't think I beat the record. I like the art. Audio is nice. I liked that audio felt different as time ran out. I hope you add more content and go beyond the 20 second limit in the post-jam version.
Loved the animation, style, music, everything. Very interdimensional trash tv.
Curious how you detected the stretch of arms and legs. I think it simply detects the distance of the original position to the current position. But how it stretches is nice, i kinda wanna learn more about that.
The stretch detection for Mr Strong is simple, it's just if you triggered the stretch. I don't check the distance although I did at one point but I felt like it slowed the game down so I dropped it.
The actual stretch is a bit more complicated. Using Godot, I created a 2D skeleton and rigged the sprite (its just a single sprite). After I created a dictionary that holds information about the chain of bones for each limb. Next the bones run ithrough an IK system I wrote. The IK system works like this:
Gets all the limb data from the chain (bone positions, velocities, lengths) and find the root bone anchor point (shoulder/hip)
Check if the limb is being dragged by the mouse
If dragging pull the end-point of the bone chain towards the mouse
Apply damping and update positions based on velocity
Next I do multiple iterations of the following for stability:
Ensure each bone maintains its correct length by adjusting connected joints
Pull bones toward their desired lengths.
Keep the root bone attached to it's anchor point
Convert the new simulated bone positions into the bone transforms
Workout bone rotations by looking at the direction between joints
Clamp/limit angle changes to prevent some jank
Lerp angle on the rotations for a smoother movement.
I hope that helps with some understanding and direction if you ever try to build your own IK system.
Alarm Mouth, Trash TV was ABSOLUTELY hilarious in my opinion. Like, it's literally WarioWare played in 20 seconds, and even though the same minigames repeat over and over again, the fact that the music gets higher pitched over time, and that you have to get as much channels as possible really puts the pressure on my toes. Also, the music and voice acting are EXCELLENT and superb, simply put. Overall, and this is the first game I've given this high of a rating, 5/5 STARS! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ BRILLIANT craftmanship, Alarm Mouth!
Also, Alarm Mouth, if you have the time, if you would check out my entry, Duckie 'n' Egg, and comment on it, I would really appreciate your support for my third game jam game. Thanks a million if you do! ❤️❤️⭐
I love the rot! You did such a great job on this project. I love micro-game compilations and this absolutely delivered. Art and music, and of course the design of the mini-games, all fantastic! Great job! :)

Bravo. Excellent aesthetic, fun mini games, and great sensor of time pressure too. Really well executed.

thanks for playing! I find trackpad hard too, just like in general haha
This is really, really good! My favourite part is the sing-songy "Who's that animal?" part.So many different mini games in 1 game, wow!
Thanks for taking the time to play!
i loved it's aesthetic! great work
This is one of the best games i've seen in the jam. I really like Wario-Ware type games. Good Work!!

What a fascinating concept for a game! It's incredibly engaging, but I have to admit it induces a mild state of panic in me. Really awesome stuff!
Love the cohesiveness of the game, I think the shader brings it all together.
I only made it to ch5.
Had so much fun playing it. Probably my favourite here so far
I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the game! Thanks for playing.
