Really nice entry, very thematic! Somehow I got a pachinko ball stuck on the first pin, but that kept funneling the rest of the balls in the x10 multiplier, so I'm not complaining xd

The sounds are really satisfying!

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

The pachinko pins have a little bit of random drift when the game loads, so you might have gotten a lucky board and a lucky bounce :)

Thanks for taking the time to play and make a nice comment! I spent a lot of time on the audio. There's a background hum, the music track changes between 3 versions based on how many credits you have, and there are I think 12 different sounds that play based on either action on the board or different jackpot levels.

Triple the randomness! I liked the pixel art on the slots, can't go wrong with cats and I especially liked the mug. The bloom sells the feeling of being in a brightly lit casino late at night, along with the somewhat melancholy music. I didn't really get what determines the positioning of the balls on the roulette wheel but the concept is very creative. I feel like this could work very well as a clicker game if you added some upgrades to buy with your winnings!

Developer

Thank you! I thought simple shapes and a white border would make for a nice look with the bloom effect, since I'm not much of an artist. To hear from someone that recognized AND liked it, that means a lot to me, thank you!!

The roulette wheel ball positioning is the one thing I didn't get to. I wanted to have them flow from the pachinko machine somehow, but ran out of time.

If I decide to work on it again, clicker mechanics is probably where I would go. Really appreciate the thoughtful comment :)

This is so fun, make me feels like Kaiji. 10/10

Wow, thanks for the flattering comment! I'm glad you enjoyed it!!

Wow, three random gambling games in one.  Definitely hitting the theme there.   Although I am going to Vegas for one week soon, I'm not much of a gambler!  Well done,

On my screen (desktop, windows, 1920x1080), the game display was too tall for my window.

(( Oh, by the way, I did a multi-game game for a previous jam, here's that one ))

(self-hosted version - because the itch-io hosted version doesn't support interaction between games)

Thanks for the comment! I checked out your multi-game as well and it's another cool take on a triple-game. Thanks for sharing it.

Ah, good call on the resolution; for this one I wanted to make it kind of optimized for vertical play, so maybe opening it on your phone would give you a better experience! I'll think about the 1080 resolution in the future when I make a vertical game.

if only we could win like this in real life right! great feeling on the overall look! cudos!

Developer

Thanks for the comment! Yeah, I wanted to balance it so most pulls were slightly negative, but big wins come often.

has become an addicts to the game

Developer

I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for taking the time to play

cool idea of mixing several gambling stuff together, pretty similar to what i did as well. pretty cool overall.

Submitted

Nicely done! It does have that gambling/addictive feel to it. Visually, it’s a bit too bright for me though

Developer

Thanks for the comment! I maybe overdid it with the bloom filter, but it was an experiment so I wanted to push the boundaries a bit.

You've got some stellar look and feel, not my cup of tea game play wise but it looks great!

Developer

Thanks for taking the time to play! I'm still brand new to game dev, so I am focusing on one thing at a time in each jam, and this time it was the audiovisual coherency and juice! So I appreciate the validation.

Super addictive. The balls even slide around on the roulette, rigged like a real casino :)

Developer

Haha yeah, that part took more time than I want to admit debugging getting the location of the ball relative to the spinning roulette table correct, but the effect of a spinning roulette with moving balls was something I didn't want to give up! Thanks for taking the time to play!

Very cute kitty 🥰

Developer

Thank you! I'm not much of an artist, but I really wanted to do the art right for this project and am satisfied with how it turned out.

suddenly i felt like i was in japan in a pachinko parlor which is funny because i've never been to japan! loved the ambience and art in the game, really nice :)

Developer

Thank you for taking the time to play! I'm not an artist, so for this jam I chose a style I thought I might be able to pull off, and just went all-in on it. I'm glad you enjoyed the result.

Submitted

Triple layered randomness? Great idea! I can see myself playing this for a long time if I have some time. Great artstyle as well. Great job!

Developer

Thanks for taking the time to play! I spent the vast majority of the time on the art, which is not my strong suit, so I appreciate the comment :)

Submitted

I feel like I need to watch more manga, or visit Japan. Thematic music and interesting simulation of marble dynamics.

Developer

Thanks for taking the time to play! Real pachinko parlors in Japan are a lot louder and brighter though :)

I cant say thats i like to play it.
But it looks nice, it sounds nice. So i love it
*Potential winner of jam!

Developer

Thanks for playing! It was a learning project for me to focus on look and sound in particular (at the expense of having any gameplay), so that comment makes me really happy!
