I don’t think I can add much more to what others also said, but I do feel the Hero’s AI could also be improved upon, I literally placed the hearts so they could heal but they literally ignored those and went into the fray without a care on their health. The concept definitely has potential and would be nice to see it expanded upon and polished.
That's a nice little game, pretty difficult to be honest (maybe I'm just awfully bad though). The concept is original, and the artwork is cute! Maybe a little more detailed background could be a nice addition, and some sounds when you find time to do that (and if you want) !
The description of the game on the webpage is pretty funny :p
Cool concept, it reminds a lot of tabs but without budget restrictions. All you have to worry about is making the battlefield balanced before you start the wave. Being able to draw the enemies and tiles onto the field would be a cool quality of life feature to add to make things a little easier on the player, and to get them into the game quicker.
I like making waves for the hero. I would love for the hero to do a little more. Cool concept
Neat concept, playing the game master. Would love to see you take the game to completion.
The concept is very strong and has a lot of potential. I think you should consider a way to handle potential game-breaking scenarios. In my playthrough, I managed to corner the remaining enemies using wall blocks. The hero reached the castle, but the game never registered a win (I assume because there were still enemies on the board). He just stands there, right outside the castle. Aside from that, the idea is great. Very good work!
Great concept. But still a prototype. Focus on what are objectives and avoid broken gameplay (like block in your current version). I reached the castle !
Neat concept, that works well. Some things that could really enhance it if you added some sound effects and background music. Hopefully you keep working on it!
This game is awesome. I love how you took a unique approach to the theme with you making the enemy waves. I do want to see it expanded on more, maybe with more upgrades or multiple levels.
Great interpretation of the theme and quite a fun concept that is a fun take on the reverse wave and normal wave concept to play the enemy that actually want to help the hero and while i do like the sprites the lack of creative or interesting background isn't great but I love the gameplay. On the gameplay side maybe some kind of more descriptive or helpful UI to aide on understanding the gameplay mechanics could go a long way for such a unique gameplay since i was unfamiliar with the type of game and how that threat level number works on the start wave button
