Game description
A game about destroying sandcastles with waves.
Theme interpretation
The theme was Waves. In this game, you use waves as your "weapon" to remove the ugly sandcastles from the beach.

Very cute game! The sound design was really well done!
Cute artstyle and the gameplay was simple! Also unique, I haven't seen anyone else doing anything like this. I failed to see the overcrowded meter that was mentioned in the description, and I tried to lose by not doing anything but nothing happened.
Thank you! I'm glad you liked my game.
You actually played a newer version where I fixed a lot of issues, but I also temporarily removed the overcrowd-meter since it was broken... .
Haha, I like brake sand castle (Just kidding)
But some graphic problem should be solve. I met some graphic problem as other players say.
The graphic problem should be solved now with the new version.
Nice little game! I especially liked the music and the overall idea. Joining a game jam is one of the best ways to learn Godot. I did the same :P
The game seems to work on full screen but the beach is only a small part in the center. The waves and the castles are outside the beach area. I tried the game on Mac both on Firefox and Chrome, and the issue was always there.
I am sorry. I never tested the game on other screen resolutions. This is my 1st godot game, so I didn't know how to handle different screen resolutions. I know how to do this in Unity, but not in Godot.
Very nicely done! The art looked good, and I really enjoyed the music loop (bossa nova rules). My only critique is that it's not immediately clear what the lose condition(s) are - I had to go back and check the description before I realized the timer was a 24-hour clock (I should have read it first to begin with, but I still think it's a fair point). Also, does the overcrowd-meter do anything? It didn't seem to do anything. Still, I think you should be proud of what you have here - great work!
Thank you so much for your Feedback!
Yeah you are right, I probably should have added a tutorial, if I had more time. The overcrowd-meter actually works, but you need around 40+ sandCastles on the screen to lose, which many players will never reach, because I think many players don't wait. I initially wanted the game to be played in 2 ways: Safe (= destroy sandCastles instantly, but you don't get additional combo points) and risky (wait and destroy multiple sandCastles at once to earn additional combo points, but you run the risk of overcrowding the beach and lose if you are not careful). I should have made this more obvious, so thanks again for your feedback. (The music is self made by the way, so I'm glad you liked it.)
I'm so happy to get valuable feedback like this and continue developing this game, so thank you! :)
Nice theme interpretation, quite straightforward!
It seems there is something wrong with the resolution, it's distorted in fullscreen.
I am wave! Cool idea.
Having seen tons of different waves during this jam, it is refreshing to finally be the wave.
The basic gameplay is simple but it works. I was not able to get any upgrades. Not sure if I just did not know what I was doing or are they broken?
I like the concept of the game a lot. The art works was also super chill and the whole game felt really cute. The art style is simple but works and I like a levelling up system. I think the premise was slightly too unchallenging and as others mention the layout is kind of broken but not unplayable just my waves would launch slightly off from where I clicked and the line didn't go all the way across. But I had a good time and really appreciated you committing fully to a wave game.
Cute fun game. Playing with a screen resolution of 3840x2160, the layout is broken, but playable.
I like the concept of playing with the theme and instead of receiving waves (as enemies), you send them yourself. Good job!
Interesting game, keep up the good job.
Well, my full-screen gameplay seems to have caused a mismatch between the background and controls; the images are very small, and it's difficult to see where to place the stones.
Did you play on a 4k monitor? Because the game is intended to be played on 1920x1080 . I know I should make the game for other resolutions too, but this is my 1st Godot game and I did not know how to make the game adapt to different resolutions.
Nope, I play on website, error screen print (: <
