I love the intro cutscene :) We had a similar idea but ended up not using it. I think you made a nice and polished game.

I like your game. It's easy to understand and fun to play. I have a few suggestions for improvement: 1) you fall forever if you walk to the left. Add proper boundaries to the world. Also: when I jump from higher platforms, I can see the default blue background. 2) some objects and npcs float in the air. Is this intended?
Overall a solid jam entry that I enjoyed playing.
I am blown away by the sound design of this game. It was such an intense yet fun experience. The game perfectly manages the difficulty curve and despite a lot of stress never feels frustrating. The decisions are also well crafted and give the player enough freedom and challenge without distracting from the countdown itself.
Very well done, I can only recommend this game to anyone, it is addictive without ever feeling too stressful. Great work!
Very cool puzzle game! I especially enjoyed the difficulty curve and level design. You made a game based on 1 idea and proved that it is fun and can be expanded in many ways. I wish there was a simple option to restart the game so that I don't have to explode with the bomb every time a make a mistake.
A decent game, but there is a lot I would improve here: 1) I like how the music becomes faster and higher pitched. The issue is that it is far too repetitive (especially the main menu music). Consider adding music that is less repetitive. 2) The gameplay could use more variety. At the moment it is just avoiding spikes. My recommendation: Ask yourself what the core decisions/questions are that the player has to make/answer and then try to make them as interesting as possible. 3) Add WASD movement.
Decent game for a 1st entry in a jam. I try to give as much feedback as I can to lots of games, so here are some aspects that can be improved:
1) The background is simple but works. If you want to make it better then I recommend learning how to make a parallax background. 2) The countdown could be implemented more into the gameplay. Right now it is just a hazard. Maybe you want to add time clocks that add more time or reward players for taking less time or more risks. 3) A few more levels would be nice so that the game doesn't end after 2 screens. 4) since this is a platformer, I would highly recommend to make it as fair as possible (fair ≠ easy). You already have good checkpoints. I would also add the usual stuff like jump buffering or small collision boxes.
Overall I think you have made a 1st game that is a lot better than most other 1st games. Good job!
Interesting idea, but I see a lot that can be improved here: 1) an option to replay the game without having to reload the browser page every time would be nice. 2) your pixel art is blurred. If this isn't intended, then you might want to use the texture filter nearest and not bliniear. 3) A better font can improve your game (there are lots of free fonts on the internet) 4) I think I found a bug: When you die, it says "seconds until death" followed by a negative number, which I think shouldn't be the case... 5) The game has no sound effects. Sound effects can also improve the game's feel by a lot. 6) The background is just pitch black, I think a castle-like/ brick background or sth like that can help to set the scene.
I hope these aspects will help you with your future games
Very cool game with lots of potential. What I would improve: 1) make the timer start when you start to move, that way players can plan their way. 2) Some stages are too easy. I just build my way up instead of doing it the intended way (I think). I don't know if that is intended or not. 3) Of course music and sfx would make the game a lot better, but nevertheless I enjoyed it.
