The atmosphere of the game is well done… pun intended! The implementation of the light and shadow theme is fantastic. Moo-ving on, the art is absolutely adorable but still fits perfectly, especially the alien. It gives off this tranquil yet slightly horror vibe, but holy cow, it’s cute TvT The little opening cutscene, the sounds, it all works well together. Honestly, this is a fantastic job for a first jam game. Hope you continue with this.
I was very glad Elium found something that fit the vibe so perfectly (along with all the other sounds), and of course credit to the actual composer Adrian Ehrlich. Thanks for playing!
It is really immersive, which is hard to do and even more with pixel art so good job for that ! I love the simple visuals, the loading screen is really fun and the game itself has good decors with the different rooms. I also like the objective simply being "get the cow" ahah
Love the theming and it's a super cute game. A small bit of feedback is that the controls feel a bit floaty which makes it a bit tough, maybe a faster movement speed between grids might make it feel a bit more responsive?
Thanks for playing and for the feedback! We're definitely gonna be weighing up what changes we can make for the full release to optimise the player experience while keeping the tension/thrill. so the movement speed will very likely be a part of that refactoring.
This is cool! I know this is a detail in your game, but I love your loading screen, both in term of design and the fact it's effectively preventing any stutter when the game loads.
The rest of the game is very cool as well, thanks for making it!
thankyou for checking it out, it is a detail but from a design perspective I see it as pretty important and wanted it in for a number of reasons :) hopefully Sinnon can reply, I don’t know if it actually serves any practical purpose though hahaha glad you enjoyed the game too!
Thanks for playing dude, it kills me to say the loading screen at this point is essentially for show hahaha so good to know there isn't actually stutter! I will be adjusting it for the full release to actually be effective as you have suggested.
love this concept so much!!! I’ve always wanted to make a game about aliens and cows :)) I also love how you combined the optional ‘Shadow/Light’ theme. Never in my life have I been more scared of humans than of cows like this :))
Cool game! Feels a bit complicated at the start with the many UI elements on the screen, but after 3-4 plays it makes sense and I had a good idea how things work. I like the gameplay loop. The loading screen at the start is perfect btw.

The game has a nice concept, the torch work well. But I feel like i'm not good at it.
Thanks! Hahahah yeah the 20 second limit makes it quite difficult very suddenly, I wouldn't say I'm good at it either :')

thankyou! Super appreciative of the review, and we definitely plan to:)
I love how calm, yet mysterious the music is, it feels almost like a horror game.
Also the alien noises are really funny

thankyou! It was difficult to find something no too scary, and not too fun. Grateful for the amazing musicians that allow no copywrite:)
Super cute game! I love the art, and the premise is super easy to grasp but difficult to master. Great job!
Appreciate it and glad you enjoyed it :)

Really fun entry, good job !
Thank you so much :')
I’m glad you enjoyed the art :D thankyou for playing !
Love how instantly immersed I got once I entered the building, fully sucked in and truly felt I was breaking in to capture a cow. Art is super cute!
This is hilarious feedback hahahaha thank you so much, glad you enjoyed it
What a cute game - the humans were really good at catching me though.
Even though things were a bit randomized, I enjoyed how the minimap nudges you.
Hahhaa yeah we will be re-evaluating the logic for the full release to make it a bit less based on luck and more skill based - glad you liked it :)

Hahahah we didn't realise until after playing it that the humans would be so terrifying, glad you liked it!
Nice and clean funny game!
Glad you liked it
that's fun! and a lot of stuff packed in 20 seconds. the lighting and environment is well made. i like the on screen chat tho that's a nice touch haha
Thanks, the chat dialogue system was fun to implement hahah
this is a pixeled masterpiece :) nice little story, nice visuals and overall ambience, great play!
Appreciate it!
very kind words man <3 thankyou
Haha, so you are the alien that keeps coming to steal the cow. Nice game! I tried to steal as many cows as possible :)
Hahahhaha I guess so, our games are 2 ends of a story lol
This was a lot of fun! The game looks so cute and the darkness adds on to the atmosphere and I loved it. You did such a great job with this project :)
Appreciate it!

Thanks - and yeah it is a lot at first, but I felt like it was necessary
