I really enjoyed this game. It was fun, creative, and intuitive to figure out. My biggest problems are that the game end icon doesn't follow you and that you can't cross the sand pits, making one of the goals impossible to reach.
This game seems to have a variety of issues. I struggled to read the UI, the flags spawned in walls and it was unclear how to progress. I think that the gameplay was rather boring and hard to understand. Overall, I think this could have used a bit more time in the oven.
The game starts busy but confusing; it seems the number of strokes and par numbers should be top corner, but are instead close to the middle of the screen for me (still off to the left but low down). Also, the win text spawned off-screen for me, seemed like it was spawning in the middle of the map? or near the start? Not sure, either way, this was fun, I like the movement even though things were a bit confusing.
After playing through the game a little bit, I realized that one of the flags could not be obtained within the level and I also did not see a point in obtaining them. Either way, the idea of this game could work and I think that if it were polished a little more and some values were adjusted, I believe that it could do well. The speed value for the ball is a little slow and the damping on it is too high I feel. Having moving threats as well could make the game more challenging and having a timer would be a nice touch as well.
Off the bat, this game comes off as a bit busy to me from everything going on onscreen. The instructions are nice and clear, which I really appreciated, and the controls were clear enough after realizing what the point of the game is. I wish the ball had maybe bounced off the walls a bit to make the game a bit more lively; other than that, the game played completely fine and I liked it. I could definitely see this becoming a full-fledged game with multiple levels. That being said, the win/lose text isn't centered with the ball and I can't read it whenever I win or lose. I also wish there was a bit more communicated with the player in how exactly they lose.
