The game is really cool and quickly understandable. But I think that it is not adapted for 20 seconds, I would loove to play it with an endless mode. The art is really funny and nice
Really great idea, with a cool art style ! I loved the concept, even thought I find it really hard to read and process fast all the informations, it is a really cool entry for this jam anyway !
Great vibes, love the art style and concept. I found it tough to read everyone's story in 20sec and make a decision. to keep the 20 second limitation a solution could be to make a visual representation somehow or something similar.
The logic deduction is fun. Nice art. Sadly, I could hardly finish reading everyone's statement in all the rooms in 20 seconds. I'm sure it'll be more fun for unlimited time or longer time limit.
Thank you for playing and the feedback! It is possible that you don't actually have to read everyone's statements in order to deduce the culprit. I am considering adding a "WILD" mode where you can adjust the length of the timer :)
Murder mystery is such a wonderful concept and you captured it in 20 seconds. This is honestly such a great game, and everything, from the simple controls, to the concept. Chef's kiss. Fantastic job! :)
i like detective mistery theme! however maybe it's too fast for me though, navigating around reading all characters' names and their answers already cost 20 seconds and my brain is frozen. but the hand-drawn artstyle is beautiful and everything is very polished though!
Glad to hear people are liking the mystery theme :D It took a long time to of decide how it would work. Thank you so much for playing! I tried to add more polish in this time compared to previous game jams.
Maybe it’s just because it’s late for me, but I completely did not get this game. Everytime I thought I found a contradiction, it was nothing… maybe it’s just because I never had enough time to read EVERYONE’S alibis, so I just panicked and picked the most suspicious one before I was out of time. I didn’t win once… but hey! The game was fun still! I really like the art style and general concept! Maybe I just need to get gud
Thank you for playing! Nothing wrong on your part, the game is quite hard. But once you figure out how it "works" on multiple replays, you can expose the killer pretty consistently :)
I love the concept so much!!! It’s a bit too fast for me to fully think things through (I’m a slow reader 😅), but if you ever have the time to make an expanded version, I’d absolutely play it. Nice game!!!
Thank you for playing!! I'm contemplating about adding a "WILD" mode where you can decide the timer length, number of people, and number of rooms (possibly)?
Such a good concept, I liked that it is procedurally generated, so each run is a challenge on my brain. :D It was a hard game especially for puzzle game newbies like me. Also graphics were really cool and suited the game and the theme a lot!
Thanks for playing and the feedback! It was a bit difficult trying to make it procedurally generated but that means the puzzle had to be a bit simpler, so the time is what's challenging. Happy to hear you like the graphics and theme ^_^
Thank you so much for playing! I'm so glad you managed to catch the killer.
Also thank you for the suggestion! Luckily, even if you click on them it doesn't do anything (or hover over them). I just wanted to space out the instructions to ensure the player understood how to navigate between rooms :)
Thank you so much for playing! The game is definitely on the more difficult side but once you know it's tricks, you can reliably figure out the culprit quickly :) Also I really like your profile picture.

Such a unique idea! The art is really cute and the game was so fun! If only I was not confusing the directions all the time... ;-;
Damn puppets... Getting me confused with south, west and stuff.

Cool art style!
Great work!

The character design and color palette are really cute. Quite a cool game for such limited time. Great job!
super cool art style! love the vibes overall, impressed with how much you were able to do!
ohh very cool game, loved the audio and the art style!

Update: I just added a "WILD" mode where you can change the length of the timer and the number of suspects. Thank you for your feed back :D

Interesting concept, this is challenging in 20 seconds, but managed to find the killer right on the bell haha :)
A suggestion :
In the tutorial I was able to click on the puppet even at the first step. Maybe all the instructions could be grouped together !
Thank you so much for playing! I'm so glad you managed to catch the killer.

Amazing concept! I love the murder mystery theme, super cute art style and love the music as well <3
(it made me realize how small my brain was because I was really in a paradox for 20 seconds there)
