you've set a nice tone with the visuals and audio while i feel you could have helped the player enjoy it a little more, somehow.
ie, your tip on the project page eludes to a goal but, for example, what if there was a "drip... drip... drip" that got louder as we got closer to it to let us know we were getting warmer vs what felt like being forced to explore every possible option (i gave up after ~5-6 tries and just took care of my business in whatever room i happened to be in :) ).
and, if there was an in-game assist, my apologies and can only blame myself for not turning out the lights while i played.
good fun and well-presented, tho. thanks for sharing :)
Thanks for playing, and the suggestion :> There wasn't a tip like that in-game, but that's a really good idea- and definitely something I should design my games with for the future. Thanks again for playing, I'll be sure to check your game out! :>
Reached the bathroom ! I love the vibe and the ambient music is 100% the type of stuff I like to listen to while writing or working so bonus points for that, cheers to the musician !
This is a simple concept but I liked it, it reminds me a lot of David Lynch's movies, there are quite a lot of scenes happening inside homes where the rooms or corridors themselves start feeling surreal.
Thanks for playing my submission! :> I definitely recommend lostsoul's music. It's great stuff. I'll admit I don't watch many movies, but I recognize the name, and it's an honor to be compared to a director's work anyhow, so thanks a lot! I'm happy you liked it. I'll have to check your game out :> (I was planning on it anyways, as I thought it was funny we both have monochrome doorway cover images).
This was a challenging and creepy vibe. I really liked it honestly! This is what it feels like to try getting back to my room late at night when all the lights are turned off xD

I checked some of lostsoul's music yesterday, indeed it's right up my alley !
(your game caught my eye for the exact same reason haha, I was curious to see your take on that similar aesthetic)
