I absolutely love this and I would 100% play a full version of this game if you expanded it. Some parts are a little difficult for me on my laptop trackpad but that's my only gripe. No other notes. Well done.
This is so funny and cute (I also love ducks in the real life although I agree then can look threatening sometimes)
Also, I did the game on mobile and was able to complete it without any issue. You might want to edit your page so it says the game is mobile friendly (that will get rid of the current disclaimer saying it's not)
Aw, thanks!! We didn't design the game to be playable on mobile, so it might not work on every screen size, but we're glad you could do it on you phone!
What an adorable game! Managing a mobile how-to guide while being chased by a duck is so creative! Also it felt good when it said the duck liked me for winning :) I do wish though that you could see the duck chasing you right behind, I love the little angry duck animation!
Love the concept and the art so much, it's absolutely adorable, and I love the little phone interface. I did panic during the first few tries, but I eventually made it to the finish line.
biscoitodecenoura, pennalu, I just played y'all's game, How to Survive a Duck, and this game is not only really relatable, but also impressive too. I just love the core concept of how you're a clumsy dinosaur and that you have to only use your mouse to remove the things that pretty much everyone in real life bothers. Also, the artstyle is EXTREMELY cute and the animations are very well done. However, the only critique I have with the game is the fact that when I click on some of the objects, they are either a little too finicky or imprecise. Such as if I'm trying to bring down the Settings on the dinosaur's phone, it took me a few tries, but eventually I got the hang of it soon. Overall, 4.75/5 stars! Really outstanding work, you two!
Also, biscoitdecenoura and pennalu, if you could play my game entry, Duckie 'n' Egg, and give feedback on it, I would be highly appreciative of you for doing so. This isn't self-promotion, by the way, but I can consider playing my game (and everyone else's, too!), in the 20 Second Game Jam 2025. Thanks a million and have a great and blessed day! ⭐💫☀️
Okay. This is a lot of fun! I love the art and the music and the gameplay. Some tasks confuse me, like the big leaf on the phone because it doesn’t move nicely when I click and drag.
But I now at least have a few handy tips and tricks for dealing with angry ducks.
Yeah, we thought some of the puzzles might be confusing, but we'll take it as a learning experience for our next projects! Thank you for the feedback, and we're glad you enjoyed it!
Gorgeous art, lovely simple premise that was engaging to play. I had the odd playthrough where I was told that the duck had caught me, but the timer had run out and I'd completed all the tasks up to that point, not sure if that was a bug or whether I was missing something. Great submission.
This is such a cute project! The whole concept of minigames while escaping a duck is such a crazy fun combination. Not something you see every day! You absolutely nailed it! :)
i love the art, it's super cute! gameplay is fun as well, i like sort of minigames where you have to dig through a phone while something disastrous happens in the background haha
Oh my gosh, love the art style very much!!! And after several attempts, i really know how to survive a duck, thanks :)) Overall, such a fun game to play
I love the art, it looks extremely professional! <3 It took me a while to understand how the game works, but I'm amazed by how you guys managed to include a whole story inside a 20 secs gameplay. Truly amazing game!
