I like your icon. Thats all fair statements. I'm glad you liked the art and music, though. Thanks for playing

Like the GUI alot, but I think the gameplay could've used some tweaking. Every time I bought ships, they spawned directly on tentacles. I think its really neat game. Good job dev

Like many others said below me. I think an easier first picture would've been nice. It took me 6 tries to turn the pieces the right way. A lot of times I turned it one notch too far, which then wasted 5 seconds re-turning it. The pixel art is great and I think a great entry. Good job team

I wondered why you didn't use all four colors. The white-and-black flashing hurt my eyes a bit. If you used the gold color on the cat or something, I think it would've been a lot better. Good job dev

Yeah, I really wanted to challenge myself with a dynamic dungeon instead of a static one. I probably would've gotten a few more floors done, but overall I'm glad I challenged myself.

I appreciate the kind words. Thank you

I also hated that room but kept it in lol

Funny thing is, I always feel the same about most games' volume, which is why I always include options in all my games. I glad you figured it out. Thanks for playing!

Good catch. I forgot to set the focus assignment for the start button. Rookie mistake. Glad you like the attack

1c 2a are fine . The others I wouldn’t use droplets for them to keep them distinct. Take away the droplets on eye for curse. For poison remove the droplet just have skull

That's a good Idea. Thanks for playing

Yeah , if we were able to add more actions, I wanted them to be special skills each character had. Like one person has a strong sense of smell and can tell which character got the drunk role, or maybe a skill to tell who is really tired, meaning they were up late doing something. Etc etc but being a game jam we cut a lot, sadly to make sure the game was playable and had a complete loop

Like the others said, I had to zoom in about 200% on my browser to play. I felt a disconnect between the character art and the game sprites; I loved both, but they didn't mesh. Overall, I enjoyed the game and wish there was a credit scene, or maybe I didn't kill enough to get one. Either way, good job, dev.

As an IT person, my email inbox would never be that small, because I'd get lost trying to scroll through it. I would've made the screen adjustable, but aside from that, it's a very neat management game for coding.

I really enjoyed the small details of this game. Especially the game's background with all the moving aliens really gives the place life. The things I'd improve are the placement of certain mechanics.  I would move the next wave to the right of the screen or above the conveyor belt. Move the speed-up buttons to the bottom of the screen; that way, clicking things has less overlap. Overall, really neat game and replayability! Good job devs

Thanks for compliments!

There are hidden roles like werewolf and mafia. It needs more fleshing out through gameplay interactions, but the killer has an ally, one character is drunk, etc. Every character has a hidden role that makes it harder to find the culprit.

Very cute art. I didn't like the buttons chosen for the layout, but I think it's a solid game entry. Good job devs

I think the art very cool with a good twist on mechanics. Also the small special effects give everything such a great touch. Sadly I feel the theme not as strong as other games I've played. Overall great entry and hats off to the whole team

I had a lot of bugs, and the character at the counter never left. I don't know if this was on purpose. The text kept staying on screen when switching to other places. I think it seemed interesting, but I couldn't get it to work even after 3 tries. Art and music were great, though

I really enjoyed the story and most things were pretty smooth. The running animation had me gagged. I would've made their stride smaller. Overall, the game was good. Good job devs

Looking for a Composer/Sound Designer to team up with. I'll do all the art and programming. If you are interested, leave a comment or message me on Discord @killermniko

I like the concept; a few tweaks would be to add objects you can push, change the cursor, and making everything closer, as I couldn't click or see the numbers on the original screen had to go to full screen. Nice game loop and cool concept. I'm curious if there was any meaning behind the ships placement on the radar.

Very interesting game and unique style. Since I never use the "," and "." keys, I'd have to look down at the keyboard each time, and I'd die by the time I looked up. Otherwise, it was a good entry for the jam

I would've liked it if the map's texture matched the art style, but otherwise it's a very interesting concept. Good job devs

Took me 4 minutes to get back to the locks after the final puzzle. Wish there was a final scene to wrap things up, but I thought the concept was very interesting. Good job team

As someone who never learned to properly type this was a lot to throw someone into. Id suggest easing people in one to three keys at a time

I just kept firing people who didn't do anything. I prefer my workers or imposters at least trying. No I didn't win but Id do it again

Thanks!

Shame you didn't get the lantern done for the souls but otherwise pretty solid game. Good job devs

I struggled to get through it, but it was a neat point-and-click game. Good job devs

The game feels really good. I had to start over, as there was no way to complete the later levels with where I placed houses. I think the ability to choose which streets they go down would prevent people from starting over. Overall good job

Puzzle games are tricky with themes and hard when you don't have playtesters to make sure others can figure things out and not just creator bias. Overall, I think the puzzles were fine; some still don't quite explain the "why," but they made it to the end. Good job dev

I like a lot of the small details, but as others said there are quite a few issues with stuff. Try shrinking the scope into smaller checkpoints that complete a larger game rather than trying to do the whole adventure. Either way, I think the game is very interesting, and I enjoyed the 2d sprites. Good job devs

yeah, we wanted to add more actions for the player and the MPC‘s to perform but we also wanted to keep the game loop stable and playable. For example, I wanted every character to have a special ability that they could perform, but that was too much to ram into a seven day game jam. Appreciate the feedback and you playing our game!

I enjoyed the minigame to break up the gameplay a bit. Had to reread the instructions quite a few times to understand which emails go to the chest and/or folder. Prob a me issue. Cool concept and game. Great job guys

I think the game came out so well and love the art style. I think some stronger hints would be better for the cases or maybe more evidence. Either way, best game I've seen so far.

Yeah, scoping is a huge part of jams. I think the hardest thing with most artist is they try to do to much and try to refine things too much. Just go with first draft pictures and then prototype the game with sketches then come back and finsih with color products. You were getting there just needed a few more teammates I think or days. Otherwise very interesting concept and good luck in the future!

Interesting idea. I would've liked a better background than the purple swirling, but I think the implementation of the theme works well.

Very neat gimmicks to old games.
