I do strongly like the graphics and music, it feels like a game boy game.
However, it fell like the puzzles was trial and error, and it felt like every
puzzle took me over 10 tries to test my way through. The chest had a
25% chance to be opened or forever locked.
I did not play it through the end sadly as I did not have the patients to
do the puzzles multiple times after getting slayed by monsters.
I like your icon. Thats all fair statements. I'm glad you liked the art and music, though. Thanks for playing
A fun zelda dongeon ! i really like the fact that it change at each death. and i love we use a long paddle as weapon haha
Yeah, I really wanted to challenge myself with a dynamic dungeon instead of a static one. I probably would've gotten a few more floors done, but overall I'm glad I challenged myself.
I enjoyed this game a lot! It is quirky, and very retro!
I appreciate the kind words. Thank you
The attack animation is really satisfying.
I made it to the boss! But I only had one life left. I was terrible at trying to press the switches on the cliffs xD
I also hated that room but kept it in lol
I didn't play a lot of Game Boy games, but that definitely felt like one. The music was a bit jarring at first, but maybe I just had my sound up a bit too loud. I did end up enjoying the song after I had adjusted. I liked the puzzle element, that was pretty neat. At first I was mad confused, but then I got curious and sure enough there were signs and I eventually figured it out. Ended up beating it I guess the second time around, I take it I died when that big slime got mad and wasn't interested in taking damage suddenly (I just was outside I think? Maybe some short "Game over" would help?). Eventually I figured it out and it was pretty fun! Nice work, keep it up!
Funny thing is, I always feel the same about most games' volume, which is why I always include options in all my games. I glad you figured it out. Thanks for playing!
