I would play this game for hours ngl. Choosing to go 3rd person pov for the writing is a very inspired choice, and helps maintain the quiet dissociative removal I correlate with the dark fantasy genre. My only critique really was that I wanted more story per the amount of battles, but that's mostly because I really loved the story!

thanks for trying it out! Glad you liked it!

The story is really creepy, and the combat is quite interesting as well. I enjoyed my time with it a lot. Nice sound design too.

glad you got to check it out! I’m just happy to have been able to experiment with this combat system I had in my head. Maybe I’ll use it again in a future project and refine it. ✌🏻

I really enjoyed that game, I wanted to keep playing and might at some later time. Very different from everything else I've played in the jam so far and I enjoyed the combat mechanics. Maybe battles that are a bit faster at the start of the game might be good, but how it was would just lend to it's own style.

thanks so much! I really appreciate you giving it a try! I may have to keep experimenting with the combat system. But this was a good first attempt I think.

thanks so much for playing! Glad you enjoyed it. It was an experiment for me, as I’m not much of a writer. But I’m happy with how it turned out.

Simple yet effective gameplay ; took me a little while to work out how the dice roll / combat system worked though.

Developer

Yeah I didn’t find an effective way to tutorialize it in the time I had. But everyone pretty much figures it out on their own. So I just left it for the jam. Thanks for playing though! Super appreciate it! 🙏🏻

I enjoyed the game! The battle system is really fun - was it inspired by something? The fights were a little long, so I kinda forgot the story, but they were great. The balance is spot on, and the sound design was perfect. Although, after defeating the last enemy, the game ran out of content and just displayed a blank screen.

it was just a turn based system that I thought up. It’s probably just a remix of a lot of things I’ve seen and played. 😂 yeah the end kinda just got away from me, and I’m not much of a writer, but thanks so much for playing. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
