In captivity I'm sure it is difficult to train a seal to do anything, much less ring a bell. I could imagine that in the wild if bells were placed in their habitat a seal would slide towards them and interact, such a strange shiny foreign object in their environment. In that regards I found the game to be hyper-realistic.
