Use of the limitation
The limitation for this jam "Finite quantity" was pretty easy to incorporate into my game. This game about a prisoner escaping (Which follows the theme: Freedom aswell) incorporates finite quantity by limiting the amount of times the player can distract the guards. This way, the game becomes about cautiously using distractions and timing them appropriately to win each level. and no nothing is being trapped inside the game.

Thanks! The button is hold to make it a timing challenge to click the run button while the guards are distracted.
It's a very solid game for your second game jam ever. I think that it would be a good idea to communicate more information with the player. It's a little tricky to understand how the distractions work at first.
Thanks! Ill update the game soon after the voting ends. There were other comments about this same thing.
Great game specially for being your first pixelart game using your own music. I would recommend you not to leave scenes without music and in bandlab you should mess around with the EQ, unlocks many possibilities.
Thanks for the advice! I tried to make a background music for the levels, but it sounded a bit top chill when the prisoner started running. It's my first game with my own music, so I'm new to that as well. I'll try to make the music better.
It was great for a first time. If that helps I would also recommend you trying to use basslines and arpeggiate chords in the melodies. It works pretty well most of the time and bandlab has a lot of basses
Thanks! I'll try those out.
Love the graphicas
Thank you!
Good game!!!!!
10/10
Thanks!
The art and sound effects were cool! Took a few times to get the hang of it :)
Thanks! I didn't get time to add instructions inside the game.
I like the level complete jingle. The concept is also a fun one.
Thanks!
it's got it's fair share of bugs, but the theme was implemented well and the concept was good.
Thanks! This is my 2nd ever jam, so don't expect too much.
Cool idea. The art is good. one issue I noticed is that the way distractions work and are counted isn't indicated very clearly. I had a few cases where I pressed the distraction key, the guard got that question mark indicator, (good idea btw) but the counter didn't go down. All in all though, good game, and it fits the theme and limitation well.
Thanks! I couldn't properly fix how holding the button for different periods of time affects the status of the guards. Will fix them soon in an update after the voting ends!
a really fun nice game good job
Thanks!
Simple gameplay that works is always fun! Nice pixel style and sounds too
Thank you! I tried to keep it as consistent as possible throughout the game.
I really like the concept of the game and the style of it (visuals + sound). It could benefit from more visual info to player tho (guards fov, escapee trajectory, etc.)
Thanks! I'll update this game later on after the voting ends to improve it. Hoping to release it on the play store.
Well done with the aesthetics!
Thanks! I tried to keep the same colors and pixel vibe all around.
Cool gameplay and an idea! It's like I'm playing old flash games! 10000/10
Thank you!
love the game but there is a small bug but its ok
Thanks!
I love the concept! And the art is good, well done!
Thank you! I don't usually do pixelart. This is my first pixelart game!
Yep, I read the credits, it's really impressive honestly :)
Thank you so much! =)
Very interesting distraction mechanic and nice pixelart. You did a good job!
Thanks! I'm trying to see if I should continue pixelart for my next games.
Congratulations! For your first pixel art game made entirely by yourself, it’s very good! The game is entertaining from start to finish.
Thank you so much for playing it all the way through! didn't expect anyone to do that. Also, nothing is trapped in level 6...
Well rounded and fun to play
Thanks! I appreciate it.
Love the simple mechanics, the depth in later stages is really neat!
Thanks! didn't wanna make it too complicated.
