Thanks!

Thanks! Im not that good at art so I had to make shapes look as beautiful as possible lol. I'm definitely working on this postjam and maybe balancing the difficulty and stretch it out between 50 levels than 12. Glad you liked it!

Thanks! I replaced the wall jump with a wall climb, so it might be a little confusing to see. Glad you liked it!

Thanks for the feedback! The bonus times were just an optional path that you could take, it's not always the right path. (I made the bottom path in level 10 a bit too easy lol) Glad you liked it!

I haven't seen a racing game about this theme and idk how. The theme works so well in this interpretation. Great game! I liked the music too. (I love how the title is also a button lmao) Nice gameplay, tho I got stuck in a place in between grass and road randomly and couldnt get out. Other than that its really good!

Atleast you tried. Glad you liked it!

TSYM for the feedback! I was about to implement the no countdown until move thing, but i didnt have time the last day to work on the game. Glad you liked it! (btw the wall climb animation was also scrapped due to time issues)

Thanks! would love to hear about what to improve in the game later on.

Thanks! Glad you liked it!

There are usually multiple ways of finishing a level, but level 9's bottom path was not really possible (tricked a lot of people). TSYM! Glad you liked it.

I tried to use as little text to make players understand the features as possible. thats why the timer becomes red when you enter the zone. Thanks for the feedback! Glad you liked it.

I liked it a lot!

I like it a lot! It would be nice to have some sound effects when you lost a life tho.

INSANELY good! Unbelievable how it was made in 4 days. There was a problem where a rat got into the corner where a machine was so I couldnt reach it so I inevitably died. Other than that its perfect

Thanks! I tried my best to make it precise but the squash and stretch of the character really complemented the slipperyness. The slipperyness is also to make the character a bit more fluid.

Glad you liked it so much!! I actually thought about adding controller support, cuz I had a controller, but most people would play on keyboard anyways so I scrapped it

I'm also surprised by how little platformer with timers got made lol. Thanks for the feedback! As for the potential improvements:

- the timer initially had a millisecond part (but I scrapped it because it looked jittery) but I'm planning on adding it back somehow

- That was also my plan but I didn't get around to implementing it lol

Don't worry, that windscreen in each level only says "just in time" when you complete under 6 second for that exact pun T-T. The bonus time boosts are most of the time a fake in order for you to try out different ways of beating the same level. (Except in some levels like 12 it's necessary (the +30s pickup gives you a net +10s extra when you come back)) Thanks so much for the feedback! I'm planning on improving the movement scripts after the jam ends.

The levels 1 and 2 were basically there to tell the inputs to whoever was too impatient to read the description lol. The climbing feature was also part of the point of existence for level 2 (to teach how to use climbing). The speed while climbing is actually clamped already haha.

TSYM!

Precise jump was in mind but not in scope for the jam. Thanks for being the ONE person who understands why the routes are there T-T. Glad you liked it!

Thanks! I should probably make it a setting if i develop this game further. Thanks for the feedback! Glad you liked it

Really nice idea and execution. I wonder if this came from a real life card game lol.

I like it! It reminds me of sam hogan's "game that plays itself"

Thank you!! This game is meant to be played similar to geometry dash, to keep trying until success because its possible. (Hence theres no deathscreen, the death sound is similar to GD, the levels have difficulty colors) Would love to hear your thoughts on what to improve after the jam

Thanks! A lot of people think its kind of unforgiving in hitbox, even though I made the spike hitboxes 0.9x the size of the sprite lol. Would love to hear your thoughts on what to improve

TSYM! Glad you liked it!

Thanks for the feedback! I'll keep in mind 1 and 2, although 3 is a fun little bug that i kept intentionally.

Thanks! Would love to hear your thoughts on what to improve

Some of those bugs are because of my poor programming skills lol. I am planing to make the controller better post-jam. If you're interested, comeback to this game after about a month, Ill hopefully add quite a lot more features by then!

The medals were on my "might add" list too. I'm interested in developing this game further after the jam, and also making it clearer which path is intended, etc are probably getting resolved pretty soon. Thanks for the feedback!

No problem! always happy to help. Try out my game too!

Sorry! Hope you play it again later. I tried to show progression in the game too quickly lol

Thank you so much!! I reeeaally need to fix the difficulty T-T no one's beating it lol

(1 edit)

The difficulty isn't that fair cuz it wasn't intended. I had to make something other than new features (i can only make so many being late to the jam) in order to not make every level feel the same. Its kind of like geometry dash in difficulty. Hard, takes a lot of attempts but its all possible

Edit: Level 8 is actually on par with levels 5 - 7 IMO, its just that the red zone isnt the intended path and instead a fake (still possible to win thru) A lot of the levels have multiple ways of beating them

This is such a cool narrative game i love this! One bug i found was that naomi kept resetting back whenever i tried to deliver her coffee

trust me when i say this, i tried to make it as easy as i could without it feeling like the same level over and over again. Glad you liked it though, thanks!

sad theres no game. Better luck next jam! Wanna try out mine?

Simple, fun and nice. Love this! I would use softer sfx but its fine

The game was pretty fun! (kinda hard tho) I would add some sound effects and lower the volume of the music
