It seems like the game might not work properly when played on a monitor at >60fps. My monitor is 165fps and makes the game absurdly fast to the point that it’s hard to control, whereas if I move the game to a 60fps monitor, the game seems to run at a much more reasonable speed.

This is a hard thing to test for, but typically stems from using delta time incorrectly. You might be able to try turning off v-sync and that might help test for it? It’s a pretty common mistake to make, but something to look into for future projects :)

Thanks I didn't know!!!

I may be mistaken, but the speed of the player is probably unintentional, but it feels like trying to control a waterfall with a bucket. I also do not think that the limitation is present at all. That aside, I do like the aesthetics of the game :]

Cool game, enjoyed playing, although a small but impactful improvement would be a jump buffer

The game is solid. 100+ levels is impressive, but a bit too much for my taste. I was never a big platform gamer though. I wish there was some music though. It felt like it needed it.

I want to start by saying that I don’t think the limitation is used well at all. The game having a limited number of levels doesn’t do anything for the game itself. For me, the game was insanely fast, any slight tap of left and right caused me to move a huge distance, and jumps were similarly fast. I don’t think this was intended, I’m assuming there’s some tick rate issue making things happen faster than they’re supposed to. Regardless, it did take a lot of fun out of the game, since things were just too fast for me to react to anything, and the fixed jump made the jumps require a fair amount of precision in combination with the speed.

Filled me with rage :)

Nice simple platformer, I'm more surprised that you say there are over 100 levels! Crazy, good job!

Getting Impossible Game vibes from this. Pretty fun and appropriately rage inducing.

The red text that shows up after each level kinda gets in the way.

Also, the game warned me about the red boxes on the level after they were introduced. This was amusing, intentional or not.

Not the strongest tie to the limitation, but a fun entry nonetheless.

Pretty fun, I like the controls and the wall jump is pretty useful.
