Super cool concept! It's very satisfying and enjoyable to defeat the elementals. (Even if I'm terrible at it)

Thank you!

Yes, initially the game can be quite overwhelming. But after the initial learning curve new highscores should come naturally. ^^

Really nice game. For me, the difficulty scales really nicely. It does not get stressy too soon, nor too late. The sprites and other assets are also really well done, considering everything is self-made ^^

For my personal taste, the music could be more intense, considering that the levels are getting progressively more stressful. Also, even though the tutorial is a bit long, after a few tries, I'd say the game is pretty self-explanatory.

Developer

Thank you so much!

I've actually thought about having the music get more intense as time goes on, but I wasn't able to implement it in a way I liked during the jam. ^^

Great gameplay loop !

Developer

Thanks!

Interesting game with a good concept, though it could use some refinement. I enjoyed playing it.

Thank you! Yes there are definitely things that could be polished further, but I'm quite happy with everything I managed to implement. ^^

This game has a too long tutorial and a too hard gameplay. No music and no sfx ( at least i didn't hear them ) and the gameplay is all about running around and shooting random things. Why would that be fun ( idk )? But it looked pretty good with those things in space ( or what the heck that place is ). Nice game but could be improved

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. The game has music and sounds, so it's likely something on your side. Maybe your browser is low on volume?

I agree that the tutorial could probably be shorter though.

Submitted

I had low volume so your presentaion rating is increased;) but now i had my browser 100% volume and i barely heard it

The gameplay loop is pretty fun and the enemy designs are great! I do think that the speed at which you can change the tower's element and take out enemies isn't fast enough to match the speed at which the enemies spawn, making it a bit too easy to get overwhelmed.

Developer

Thank you so much! I agree that the game can be quite overwhelming, especially when first playing it.

But it's definitely possible to hold your own against the enemy waves for quite a while! For reference, during my tests my highest score was around 260. ^^

Good. Not Goat, but interesting, ang enjoying.

Developer

Thanks, the game being enjoyable is good enough for me! ^^

Great game. It works super smooth and with music and environment gives you the vibe that you can take your console and play the game forever :D I agree with other people tutorial was a bit too long but it explained everything so I am okay with it. One thing I felt bad is that sometimes I have the element in my hand and try to throw to the tower and it just disappears could be because of collider or maybe I am just throwing from super far don't know. And also it gets super hard super fast maybe small adjusments there. In overall it is a great game. 10/10

Developer

Thanks you so much! It's possible that the pickup, that is thrown, reaches it's maximum range and disappears right before reaching the target. Which can definitely get frustrating if it keeps happening. xD
Definitely something that can be improved so thanks for the feedback!

Hmmm

Developer

It's crazy that no one caught that during my playtests. xD Thanks for the hint!

Nice game !

I love the fact that each mechanic has multiple use, it definitively add to the depth of the game !

It was still a bit hard to manage all  the ressources regarding the problems the comments bellow mentionned, but I enjoyed it nethertheless !

As you mentionned in my entry, having an in game tutorial is top notch, well done !

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Yes initially I had only planned to be able to switch the Towers element but I found that there was a lot of "idle"-time then, so adding some mechanics on top definitely helped!

Fun game loop, tutorial too long didn’t bother to read it all, sorry, but I got the gist of it by playing.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Yes the tutorial is probably longer than it has to be. ^^

Really fun take on the wave survival concept, I love how frantic it quickly gets, as I desperately rush around trying to find the right element for the current wave. I will mention that I don't think the tower should block player projectiles, I think it messes with the flow too much, and the location of the mark pickup means that enemies can often block it which pretty much guarentees a loss. Still, I really enjoyed this game, and I'd love to see the concept expanded further.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! Yes the Tower blocking the "mark" especially is probably something I should probably fix. ^^

This game was really fun but also tough (it took me a long time to know how to survive over 2 minutes lol). Great work!

Developer

Thank you so much! Yes it definitely takes a while to get into the groove of things. ^^

This game has a really good idea! I suggest making the tutorial text autocomplete if the animation is not yet done at first press before making you continue. Additionally, it would be great to see the controls again somehow just in case you forget, because it would take some time to look at the tutorial every time you forget. I think that this game was fun. Good job!
