Creative Vision / Rationale / How Did You Incorporate the Theme
The Theme, being a reference to The Creation of Adam, initially inspired me to make a sandbox game where you play as God. The Creation of Sheep theming came naturally later through development as an additional tie to the Theme, replacing Adam with sheep, the main focus of the game.

A very good game. It’s the kind of concept I have tons of ideas to improve upon. The balancing works well . What made me stop playing was the lag when there are too many entities, but that’s totally fine for a game jam project. It’s really good overall. 5/5, good job.
Great entertaining game : ) , the audio glitched a bit when I repeatedly shook the hives lol.
A really interesting concept and execution, ultimately becomes something akin to a 'reverse-roguelike' where your choices actively harm your future chances lmao. I kind of like that idea of mitigating harm, but does leave me a little confused if one is trying to interpret this from a narrative standpoint. The implication would be two competing forces, I guess? Clearly, not the purpose of this game, but something it brought to mind for me. Very charming game with some great artwork!
One sheep, two sheep, three sheep, four sheep, five sheep, six sheep…. sheep, sheep, SHEEP, SHEEP, SHEEP, SHEEEEEP, SHEEP, SHEEEP, SHEEEEP, SHEEEEEP, SHEEEEEP, SHEEEEEEP, SHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!
5/5 Stars, want MORE SHEEP!
I know I'll love this but it's larger than my laptop screen so I'm missing some stuff at the edges (that includes the UI). I'll come back to this on my desktop. Still, worth considering that you shouldn't default to such a large screen size to make the game playable for more people.
Oh snap, you're right. I always just defaulted to 1920x1080 thinking Itch would automatically resize it to fit any screen. Thank you for pointing it out. It should be fixed now!
and just like that, it works now. Hooray!
Running straight back to this game after unlocking my freedom of vote. This game is insane all aspects. Love the cohesiveness of the visual and the interpretation of the theme resulting such interesting game mechanics.
Wow! Hearing my game be defined as "insane in all aspects" is incredible. That means a lot to me. Thank you so much!
Interesting game, the concept is great and there's a lot of different approaches to it and effects.
I don't know if I've seen all the possibilities but I think there's very few options allowing you to protect the sheeps from predators. There's the bears but they also kill your sheeps and I did not manage to get more than one.
Maybe I missed something here. My best strategy here was to shake all the predators trying to get close to the sheeps but it's very hard, especially when some predators have the speed boost effect and they move like Flash.
Anyway great entry, good job!
Yeah, bees are actually the only animal that is beneficial to sheep. At first, hyenas were also supposed to be helpful, only eating bones. However, this, in combination with bees, resulted in 70% of divine choices having a "good" option that overshadowed all others, making the game repetitive. This is why most options in the final game are double-sided: hyenas eat sheep but also bones, bears eat sheep but also other predators, you can use fire to get rid of bears and charged predators, etc. Anyway, thank you for the compliments! Glad you enjoyed the game!
I would say I wasn't expecting much but it delivered a lot! Way funnier and a lot of fun to play, nice twist on the current oversaturated genre of "roguelike/vampire survivors style", really enjoyed it. Great job pal!
It's really fun! Thank you for making this it really got all my laughs today XD
Incredibly chaotic game, I really enjoyed thinking I had solved the game only for a random fire or a single bear to ruin my whole day.
This is one of the most novel and organic interpretations of the theme I’ve seen so far! The art, sound design, and all the in-game elements work tightly together in service of the fun of core mechanics.
It’s also a funny coincidence that my own game is set on a grassland as well, but with a completely different vibe LOL. Anway I found myself playing round after round without really noticing. Turns out managing the ecology on the grassland is not easy at all!
A cool combination of god simulator and roglike. A very smart entry!.
such a briliant idea!
I had a lot of fun playing this game!
I ended up shaking the predators like crazy xD
Only tricky part was the next choice popup that appears suddenly, I was so caught up with clicking around on the map that I clicked onto one of the choices by accident a few times.
But hey maybe that's just me, anyways definitely a great game!
Yeah, that actually happened a lot during playtesting too! Unfortunately, I ran out of time to fix that before release. Glad you enjoyed the game. Thanks for the kind words!
One of my favourite submissions so far! Lots of fun, super cute art. Thank you for the game! :)
