I felt like an idiot the first play through, I didn't realize the ZAP button destroyed the light bulbs. Once I figured that out on the 2nd playthrough, I mastered it by the 3rd try. :-)
Yay, I win! :D I focused on purchasing antimatter as soon as possible, and it helped a lot.
At first, I wasn’t sure how this related to the Cell Wars theme, but after reading your definition of “battery,” it makes a lot more sense.
Personally, I think a more abstract or technical visual style could help communicate that concept more clearly and support the mechanics better, although the current quirky touch of the lightbulbs moving along the road also adds a fun charm.
That said, I really enjoyed the mechanics and the overall gameplay, the core loop works very well.
Thanks :)
I totally agree the idea of a more abstract or technical visual style, but my artistic capabilities are sadly lacking! I'd totally be up for a collaboration for a future jam though as your artwork is fabulous.
I keep that in mind :)
Neat concept! Definitely has potential to be expanded upon a bit
Cool incremental game!!! I liked it a lot. It´s maybe a little easy, but it´s normal in this kind of games.
There´s a lot of work to ballance the game, the variables, etc. I want to try to do some similar in the future hehe.
I think it’s pretty on theme a bit, I love tower defense games.
Interesting, but not on the topic of the project, otherwise I would rate it 4 stars, but it’s not on topic, so 3.
