Very fun! I love the art and the sounds fit great! The gameplay is fun, and so smooth. And it's hitting all my nostalgia centers so well, fantastic work!
Suggestions:
The first level I think is too long, I'm on the fence about the others.
The punch ability isn't very satisfying to use, I kept punching and still getting slowed by stuff, I think because it hits stuff within 1 vertical tile, but you take up 2 vertical tiles? And I feel like that punch should boost you forward somehow.
