You really REALLY  knocked it out of the park with Justice's rooms!!!

They were so full of little details and so much personality and the distortions were quite good too alternating between the obvious and subtle!  (that Calli on Gigi's room was surely playing LoL)

It may have been a little too difficult for me, since I only got the worst ending a few times until I started doing what any "Impr Pat key"pressing adult would do and used good old Paint to help me.

Still I only got the stalemate ending... but I tried again and then I DID IT!

I know I cheated, I know... but for me it was great :D

I think that maybe 6 loops were a little too much, I would recommend 3 or 4, but all in all... GREAT GAME!!

This game was really cool, I enjoyed the unique spin on a find-the-difference game! It took me a bit to realize the goal (perhaps denoting the first round as loop 0 would help), and unfortunately I was not good enough in the short time I played it to find the better endings, but I still had fun. The art and music were really nice, it felt cozy despite the void of the background and the impending doom.

I think maybe something I would have liked would have been a more visible display on what area you were investigating. In the 3D space it wasn’t so obvious, and because you (understandably) have a limit on number of checks, I did accidentally waste one or two because I didn’t realize I didn’t angle it properly.

A loop counter might be nice, I don’t think it’s a huge flaw but it does help mentally when you are when you’ve already been through several loops.

I also noticed the minor layering issues with Ame and Gigi’s bed, but that’s a small easy fix.

Great work!

My 256kb of mental ram were not enough to do well on this game lmao. I liked the music and vibes of this game a lot. The pixelated effect on smol ame was really neat and merged her into the aesthetic of the rest of the artwork super well. Smol Ame's powerful steps were very funny.

Very nice visuals!

I loved checking out every little detail in the rooms.

Nice BGM!

Got two out of three endings after trying the game 6 times. Some of the differences were very tricky to see and there's one that I never found.

Inaaaaa nooooo!

Some improvement suggestions:

- Sometimes the investigation would fail when near the right spot. Probably pixels away. This lead to me running out of tries when there were exactly as many anomalies as tries available. Would be nice to have at least one spare in all levels.

- Volume controls are not very useful if the title screen has no sound for the player to check the volume. Never set volume 100% as the default!

- A loop counter somewhere on the screen would be nice.

- A skip button for the intro would be nice. You can spam click too but a dedicated skip would be nicer.

- It would be cool if the game tracked how many different distortions the player identified and fixed, so that they know if they've identified all possible places to look at or if there are potentially new distortions not seen yet.

Great game, team!

Feel like my brain has turned to mush, and I'll have Above Below stuck in my head for the next 2 weeks but we got there in the end

Fantastic job on the art and designing the rooms, its literally like you ripped them out of OBS and put them into Godot lmao. But Cece and Gigi's rooms really had me tearing my hair out trying to find everything (which I suppose is a good thing).

BGM was really catchy too!

Not too much to pitch in on as far as improvement, high quality for a jam game, and no bugs that I encountered - though it looks like Gigi's bed and dresser might be up too high on the z index or visibility layer, since you can clip under them.

Otherwise I'm going to go grab a bucket to pick my brain off the floor! Fantastic work from the team!

Oh man, I was not prepared for the level of difficulty a spot the difference game could be, haha. Love the art and references. The BGM was also catchy enough to keep me going for an embarrassingly long time. Took me probably over 20 rounds, but at least...

ayooo! Thats so good man. I never got the true ending and im one of the artists lol.

genuinely, thanks for playing

Not a bad spot the difference type game. I think there's some differences that are way too subtle and I wouldn't have spotted them if I didn't cheat. One thing that was missing was some sort of counter that showed how many portals you had left since I didn't know how many warps were left until the end while playing. Kudos to the artists with the pixel art rooms. They had a lot of character for each of the hololive members they represented.

The 3d ame pixelated looks very cute! It was quite an enjoyable game. I got the bad ending on the first playthrough and used that knowledge to get a good ending on the second one. It was a fun experience but it didn't say anywhere that the first instance of rooms was the thing that we had to remember, so it was a bit confusing at first.

So, coming at this as someone who doesn't play spot the difference games, I have to say the instructions were really unclear. In particular, I didn't know this was a spot the difference game until I came here to read the comment. I went into the first loop expecting to see strange things, then got confused because everything looked reasonable.

Very cute visuals and very nice music!I have very bad memory but still was very fun to play!

I like the whole vibe of the game and the references, really cool!

Very good memory game, never managed to get them all but was fun replaying to try and see all the differences!

I never knew a spot the difference game could have such grave stakes.  Love that some of the differences are crazy subtle. I'll probably be able to draw the rooms by memory at some point.

The art is great and cute! This was so hard...

Thank you for playing!

Love all the pixel art! Game looks really good, though Ame's model is looking a little too crispy.
The gameplay is a little too challenging for my small brain to remember all the tiny details of 4 rooms at the same time, but I had fun trying!

Tbf im one of the artists and i lost the majority of times...thanks for playing

WOW this game is super fun to play! I like how it looks and how the controls feel! I played it for a while and you always discover a new  distortion! One little note would be the loop of the BGM it's still noticeable but other than that great game!
