It's charming! Would you continue on this game if you made it to round 2? Ifso what would you do :)

Developer(+1)

Depending on the theme we get for Round 2, I might. Before I ran out of time, the plan was to have the different options give you different stats and have people run through you that you had to successfully scare away before they make it to the end, like a little arcade game. Spiderwebs would slow down the people but not increase scare chances, baby dolls would increase scare chance, and so on for the others.

Cool character customizer! I made a small girl, surrounded by many eye balls, was very scary, very scary indeed.

Such an interesting idea, the combination of cute and unsettling really enhances this game, great job!

This has charm, I like the variety on objects to place and that the face is animated.

A great combination of cute and creepy. Cool theme!

Wow, playing as the haunted house is a great concept. Good customizations, loved it!

Nice game! I don’t think I could have ever come up with the idea of customizing a house,it’s really creative. Adding sound effects could have given it even more weight, but overall it’s a pretty cool game, and the title feels deep too!

Such a cool art style!! I think this has tons of potential for future rounds, can't wait to see how this progresses!

Would love to see more of this! It was extra funny seeing the curtain, when I moved into my current house, the dingy basement/laundry room and a shelf with a curtain and it just felt like a place to hide bodies.

Made my internal organs extra flashy! Excited to see what's next for the haunted house

Really interesting concept and I love the hand drawn art style. Great theme interpretation, got me interested in where the house would go from here!

very unique! I was wondering what kind of game you would make with this system.

You have roughly 4,025,066,618,744,862,700,000 combinations, which is one of the larger numbers I've seen. I'll be fully honest, and I'm *not* docking points for this, I was disappointed when there was no game to play. You've done such a good job of setting the vibe with nice design and some hint of a character, that all I wanted to do when I was done is press "play game" and learn about this house boy. Great job with the art, the customization is very in depth, 10/10.

I was hoping to have some gameplay but programming is my weak spot and I didn't have time to put it all into the game unfortunately. I was also disappointed I didn't have any gameplay 😅

Thank you for playing!!

The idea is unique and love the weird vibe it gives off. Hope to see the gameplay that goes with this.

The idea of the character being a whole house is very unique and outstanding! lots of fun to mess around decorating the rooms and the house itself! with the character being a house it has my very curious what the gameplay would be, could see it going in so many different directions. Great Job!:)

Choosing a haunted house as a character is a really good idea, overall really enjoyable :D

Choosing a haunted house is a great move, I feel like it opens up a lot of creative directions for gameplay if you continue the project. It's definitely very easy to customise and I liked the animated shutters and eyes.  I’d love to see that same level of animation applied to other elements but what there is, is well drawn and fits well with the spooky aesthetic

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing!! If I continue the project, I definitely plan to add more animations 💚

And I'm so glad you enjoy the haunted house!! I wasn't sure how people would perceive it as a customizable character since its a house lol

Submitted(+1)

It was a pleasure. I look forward to seeing those extra animations if you keep going with it. Your house definitely meets the theme and in my opinion anything can be a character and the more creative and unconventional, the better

I like your hand drawn artstyle and creativity, good job!

I could see this being a haunted house simulator, where teenagers with different fears come through and your score comes from how terrified your decorations make them.

I felt that the ui was clean and responsive, nice entry!

The art is pretty and the customization is one of the most unique ones
