Upgrade design is great you feel powerful by the increment and not too fast not too slow. Sound is fantastic it is extremely satisfying to hit things and you can feel much that you are more like a tank by the end from the amount of hits. Difficulty system made it easy to grind if needed for the next level but the extra amount of scrap always made me push further. I did notice I could not access any of the options outside the main menu after starting the game. Wish it had a global button to press :(

Great design of incremental game!

Loop is good and engaging, art is decent and background I pretty great.

I think it has good potential to build up!

Congratulations on your first submission! Waiting for more!

Very polished! I loved the punchy sounds. The balance could be improved; at some point, there are too many enemies who are too fast and can just kamikaze into you, so it becomes a bit mindless.

Very good gameplay fundamentals, and most of the balancing is pretty good too, decent idea splitting the game up into levels, otherwise progression would feel so slow if you had to start over from level 1 every time. I do dislike that the shotgun ships AI just runs them into you instead of just blasting you from close range because thematically it doesnt feel right to me that spaceships would do that, but that's just my opinion. I also feel like the shotgun wide spread and long travel distance kind of invalidates aiming and promotes spamming in one direction. But don't let my vague critiques dissuade you, I really enjoyed the game!

Started out a little slow, but I enjoyed it once things picked up a bit. Nice job creating this game in such a short time!

Graphics polish is lacking a little bit, the background is flickering due to floating point movement I guess, which is a bit uncomfortable on the eyes, but other than that, I had a blast playing this.

Damn, I did not mean to spend 30 minutes on this but the gameplay loop is just too good! Extremely well polished for a jam, upgrade paths, UI, difficulty scaling on victories etc. I found the game very addicting, at first feeling like the difficulty was too high but with a couple upgrades from the scrap I'd sourced that changed quick!

Great entry!

Love the graphics on this one. Reminded me of the first risk of rain in the best way. The ship controls took a little getting used to but in the end they were alright. Great job on balancing and the game loop. Levels had the right level of challenge for the reward and the weapons and upgrades felt balanced but meaningful. One of my favorite submissions for sure!

This game has such a good gameplay loop. I'm terrible at this kind of game, but I kept playing past when I unlocked all the upgrades (other than Getting Wide which it looks like it stops at 10 levels, not 15).  I died pretty much every round, but I always had some upgrades to look forward to so my bad piloting skills didn't bother me. Nicely done!

I had a lot of fun with this one! Great gameplay loop, keeps you wanting to play more.   Add bosses next!

I love how the ship looked 3D when it turned even though it wasnt (?), really cool idea for the theme! Had a lot of fun playing this

Wohooo i beat the game! The player ship and cursor get hard to see on the final level and the sound of the pickup gets really loud if you pick up a ton of them in a short time. Good job on this game! I had fun.

the visuals and sound design are also great

Nice game, I thought the control was interesting and unique, a cool combo of a traditional bullet heaven system, but with a vehicle steering control system that's not quite the asteroids style momentum system either. My only complaint is I tried to go off the edge of the screen expecting to come back around but apparently hit the edge of space and blew up lol. Really nice though and quite challenging!

I loved the game a ton! both the dificulty and progression feel good even tho the first run you're likely to get crushed, it's a really good game!
