Nice submission! This was a very original idea. It took a hot second for me to figure out what to do, but I got my corpsecraft in the end!

I probably spent a good while confused because I didn't read and didn't remember how roman numerals work. I am now free from my mortal flesh vessel and going for will ride my meat raft to become steel. From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh it disgusted me.

Loved the art, textures, and models. It kind of reminded me of old silent hill. Great game good job!

Thank you so much! Congratulations on being rid of your putrid form! I’ll pray for the witless civilisation whose shore you land upon to wreak vile havoc!

really really cool vibe

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I should have added some mushrooms ;)

The art looks really nice and the sounds fit to it too. I didn't figure out how to use the craft table unfortunately after presseing e, although I had a full inventory of items.

For the issue with bones falling through the floor, in my experience jolt physics handles those tiny thin objects better. It's just an option in the project settings, idk if you've already tried it.

Developer(+1)

Yeah, I’m using Jolt I think the collision shapes are just too thin. Thanks for the suggestion though and thanks for playing!

Nice adaptation to the theme!

Thanks!

To expand the dying to parkour and get parts  mechanic it would be great to have a super speed kinda thing or a repeat time feature to repeat your trajectory superfast!

Developer

I had initially planned to have different kinds of bodies that drop other resources and have abilities but didn’t really have time. Thanks for playing!

I want to surf my meat raft

Developer

You and me both pal

The art looks super cool, sadly my camera was bugged so I couldn't really explore the whole map but after refreshing it was fixed and I was able to finish the game!

Developer

Oh no! I wonder what happened there. I’m glad you managed to get it working though! Thanks so much for playing.

Interesting idea. I found out that i should kill myself but go some problems with completing some gear to cook further. I think there could be problem with bones collision, it just disappeared  into ground :D

I like graphic style, like PSX and first person camera. Cool!

Congratulations on your submission!

Developer

Thank you! Yeah the bones have a habit of disappearing into the aether. Thanks for playing!

I was able to finally figure it out and finish, but it took a while. I explored the island several times, and went into the water looking for what I was missing to interact with. After falling off the cliff and landing on the shore I eventually found the corpse and realized what to do. The corpses blend into the terrain too much. What to do is not intuitive, but it is made harder by not being able to easily see the corpse at a reasonable distance. Even looking for them, and know roughly where to look, I sometimes had to circle around to find them, but that first one when not knowing what to look for was partly luck. I was getting ready to give up when I finally found it.

Developer(+1)

Yeah, you’re totally right there. I kind of wanted them to look like they’re rotting away into the earth but it makes them very hard to spot. It’s also quite a dark game which compounds the issue. Rest assured after the jam I’ll make them stand out!

Submitted(+1)

that was grim

took a while to understand why i didn’t have the resources turns out there is an inventory

Developer

Thanks for playing!

Spooky! Took a while to figure out what was going on but this was pretty cool, and such a neat idea for the theme

Developer

Thanks!
