Game Description
A short game about finding a nice place for the little ones.
How does your game tie into the theme?
The perfect fit isn't always available. Buildings will desire certain characteristics (color, shape), which can be offered in part by individuals seeking purpose. In later levels, buildings are also repurposed to have different needs over time.

This one was my favorite; coming back to play it again! Nice job!
Aw, that's really kind, and thanks for dropping by! I remember your game fondly as well, hope to see more in the future :)
Simple but really entertaining! It has potential to become something bigger!
I DID IT!!! I was freaking out at the end. The beginning levels were a great tutorial. I wish the audio was editable without starting over again. The changing shapes and color should not fade but blink. A number of times I was waiting because I did not know what the current shape/color of a building was. I did have a ton of fun!!! Thanks for making the game!
I loved the concept, it was so easy to pick up the game and start playing. It didn’t even need any explanations because the objective of the game was so clear with the visual clues. Great entry!
Very cute game with very simple controls yet some complexity! I really had a great time. Loved the chaos that could happen if you don't manage to make the little ones fit in a house!
The style and music reminded me a lot of pico park, which is a game I really enjoy playing, so bonus points for that as well.
Good job on the entry! :D
I did not expect it to get that hard at the end. Good job! The level progression felt right, and you did well showing players how to play the game throughout. The later levels were definitely challenging, but not so much so that I felt I couldn’t succeed. I think the hardest part I had was trying to pick up the right character when there were two or more close together. if I picked up the wrong one I’d often end up taking a quick moment to decide whether to wait a little longer to see if a house changed to match or not.
The characters were cute. They were simply, but still had personality. It made me feel bad whenever one would kicked away from a house, which made me try even harder to get them all right.
I think you found that good sweet spot for game length. It was long enough with good game play to feel satisfying, without feeling like you were just rehashing the same thing over and over again. I had fun.
Love the katamari vibe, the way the characters tilt as you pick them up, and the goofy little chiptune music. Very simple but the execution and polish really make the game a delight. Nice entry!
Super job slowly scaling up the players difficulty! If i was the dev for your game I would have thought keeping the first few 'hand holding' levels would be too simple for the user, but as the user that with the intro cutscene really solidified my understanding of the mechanics so quickly and without any words! bravo
Very polished, I like the sfx muuch.

Felt really polished, loved the animations, it just felt all around finished! Was a bit hard for someone color blind like me but it was possible :D
Thanks so much for playing, and for the thoughtful feedback! I definitely struggled with relying too much on color in the design.
Would love to add some customization support in the settings, like the ability to pick more identifiable/contrasting values via HSV sliders. If you have any other ideas to help improve the experience, let me know :)
Cool idea! interesting interpretation of the theme, I thought the art and music was lovely :)
Very fun concept and charming music. I completed all 10 levels. The little dudes are charming, and the rejection animation is so funny. Awesome submission!
great submission! game is creative and fun!
Art and music is so well made, simple but just amusing.
Congratulations on your submission!
Such a charming game! Really great use of the low-res pixel art for something that looks very distinctive and unique. I also liked that it's all simple enough to bring the gameplay really front and center.
Simple, but very well made game.
Artstyle, sound effects, music - all works pretty well together.
Later levels keep your brain busy as the symbols and colors are ever changing and hiding making it surprisingly tense.
Only downside for me is the theme integration, which I don't really see here.
Great work!
This game is awesome!!! Such a fun puzzle game and the art and music is so good. I love picking up the precious little guys and sorting them into the right houses!! The style and music is so cute.
This is one of my favorites from this jam. Amazing and really great work!
This is such an adorable game! I loved the way mechanics were introduced and the difficulty ramp up felt natural. I love the art style and the sound design and the premise!
Really smart way to add variety. I liked how the difficulty ramped up until I think level 7 maybe. I felt like I kept running out of time but a portion of that time was waiting on the houses to change to show a shape so it felt less like I was failing and more like I just had to wait and then scramble. As others have called out the audio is really fun with this, and I liked the little smoke that came out when a level finished.
